  2. I was very eager to get me a Zepp2. Zepp promised useful club swing and wrist data. Had some Pro support and promising potential. Easily attaches to a glove simple to use. I worked some overtime and spent it on Zepp2. Excited to get it and use it, but frustrating to get it to work. Pros: Clean and intuitive app. Instant feedback with scoring model. Swing video analysis system. Seemingly accurate scoring. Cons: Horrible tech compatibility….My Pixel phone, wife’s phone, old Motorala phone, old-old Ipad didn’t work. I had to get an Ipad from a fr
  3. Ri Yeah, R-Motion by Rapsodo is different product than the launch monitor. It was mostly advertised as a swing analyzer with budget simulator.
  4. A little late to the game here, per usual. But I gave it a go. I decided to give the R-Motion a try mostly because it advertises that it gives some basic information about my swing but also because it integrates, and comes with, a free version of a simulator. The reviews on R-Motion are mixed at best, but I was hoping I would be able to get one of the better experiences. There are a few aspects to the R-Motion to dig into; the R-Motion device, the App, the data and the Simulator. Pros: Relatively reliant ball flight and swing path display on the R-Motion app and GameGolf.
  5. Hello SouthWest-erners How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I’m a beginner/recreational golfer (mid/high 90's score). Been playing for several years, but that typically has meant 3 or 4 rounds a year having a few beers with friends. Recently, prior to quarantine, I started to take a real interest in golf and wanted to actually improve my game. I’m also work an irregular schedule and limited funds to invest towards green time What do you love about golf? The Pros make it look so easy but it is anything but. Every shot
  6. Ken, from Las Vegas Nevada Practice with current putting mat and a yard stick for straight line shots (winters aren't so bad, it's the blazing summer sun and wind to avoid) Snagged a great deal on a VariSpeed mat. Works decently well and has helped with lining up a straight club face, but many unexpected side rolls and inconsistent speeds. 'Medium' (10-11 stimpmeter)
  7. Thank you all for the feedback. I'll definitely bring my current driver in when I go shopping
  8. Correct, total distance. A few MPH to increase 10+ yards is motivation to keep working on it.
  9. Been following MyGolfSpy for quite a while but this is my first post. I've been a hack golfer for many years (swinging clubs and having some beers) but within the past year I've been focusing on my game, taking a few lessons and upgraded my irons. Right now I'm playing a 5y+r old Tommy Armour driver from an all-in-one bag. Accuracy still needs some work but fairways hit is averaging 235yrds. My swing speed is on the lower end 90-95mph (38yr old) so I am trying to work on increasing those numbers. So upgrading the driver is inevitable and I'll be going to a local PGA Tour Superstore fo
