  1. Good Thursday morning spies. Walked out of work yesterday to the cool temps and high winds that had been present all day so I skipped the golf course. Stepped outside to grab the mail about 30 minutes after arriving at home and the sky was blue with a light breeze. Just a touch of that unpredictable Midwest weather. Temps are back into the 40s today with rain on and off all day. Soccer games tonight and tomorrow so maybe golf on Saturday when temps will still be in the 40s. Have a wonderful day spies!
  2. Who is #2? That’s a tough question. I know that Rory is listed as #2 and that there are a lot of great players towards the top of that list but, none of them are as consistent as Scottie. Looking at the OWGR list of names makes my head swirl just thinking about it. I don’t see Scottie being threatened at the top any time soon.
  3. Good morning and happy Wednesday everybody! Temps should be in the high 50s with rain this morning and then low 60s and overcast this afternoon. Clubs will go to work with me in anticipation of getting a round in after work today. Just need to get past that work part… Have a fabulous day everyone! ️
  4. Congratulations testers! That’s a great group right there, already looking forward to your testing.
  5. Good Tuesday morning spies! Storms are brewing and we should have them on and off all day long. Currently watching the lightning storm to the north from my kitchen table and listening to the thunder rolling. Good day to be inside working. Positive vibes your way @sirchunksalot to have a nice chill time from this day forward. Hope that everything stays under control for you. Have a great day spies.
  6. Burger cooked medium. Swiss or American cheese and maybe some bacon depending on my mood that day. Also needs pickles. That’s it. My perfect burger.
  7. Wow!!! Nothing like a quick reminder as to one of the drawbacks to living in the Midwest. I’ve only been able to get 4 rounds in so far and I thought I was doing pretty good. Heck my season goal is for 70 rounds so I’m still on good pace.
  8. Congratulations on the milestone!! Keep those posts coming for the next one.
  9. Freddie Couples is my favorite but Tommy Fleetwood is running a pretty close second. I also like the slow and patient backswing of Morikawa. Seems very relaxed during the takeaway.
  10. Hopefully the medical staff isn’t overly concerned with your numbers because they are within whatever range they base it on but will still get some meds for you. I always find it frustrating as well when it seems that the answers are not coming fast enough for what I consider a very big deal health wise. Hopefully you get some answers soon.
  11. Good luck with your appointment today. Hopefully you get some good news and can get back to normalcy soon.
  12. Happy Monday spies, time to get back to the grind. We hit 80° yesterday and we might get pretty close to that again today. Daughter has a soccer game tonight and the 75° kickoff will be much more welcoming than the 40° with rain and wind of last week. She has three games again this week and the other two games are back to 50° with a chance of rain. Golf might not be on the table until the weekend. Enjoy your day everybody!
  13. Good morning spies! I skipped my morning round today so that I could finish up some yard work to make time for the Masters. I shall now watch some golf and roll some putts to pass the day until Homa starts his round and then I’ll sit down to watch the final groups. Have a great day spies.
  14. Way to go low @Kenny B, nice round!
  15. Thanks!! Keeping those doubles off the card sure seems to help other things happen.
  16. Really would be cool to see Homa put in a charge for the win. Not going to be an easy round for anyone.
  17. Top of the leaderboard is starting to fill up. This could get really tight.
  18. I just had that exact same thought as I watched him retrieve his ball on 18. Almost made me wince while sitting on my couch.
  19. Thank you! I’ve been working on the most important part of the game for any golfer, that area between our ears. Looking for the smart shots which may not necessarily be the aggressive shots that I take way too often.
  20. Only the fourth 18 hole round of the year for me and already a new PR with a 40/42 for an 82. I sure hope that wasn’t a fluke and it is a sign of things to come. Biggest thing for me today was keeping the doubles off the card. Tee shots were not great but they never were terrible and the short game really helped me out today including 29 putts. Stats for the round were two birds, four pars, and twelve bogeys with four fairways and three GIR.
  21. Very valuable in terms of how they can help your game. Proper alignment and swing plane are much easier to check with sticks. Agreed!! I even found yellow ones at Home Depot a few years ago for $2-3 each. I keep three of them in my bag all the time just so that I never forget them at home. Alignment stick cover cost me more than the alignment sticks.
  22. Good morning spies!! Rolled out of bed at 5:45 this morning to get in a sunrise round and now it’s time to watch the Masters for the day. I will also be doing chipping and putting in the basement as well as cutting grips off so that I can regrip everything this afternoon/evening. Have a great day everyone!
  23. Yikes! That would have been a scary situation, glad that you are on the path to get some control over it.
