  1. I was late to the Push Cart game, but I've been an advocate for the short time I've used one. I would always carry at my local muni and there are a couple other walk-able courses in my vicinity that I would on occasion walk. It's not even the load of relief of not having the bag on my back, but it's actually the fact I don't have to continue to pick it up and put it down that is the benefit.
  2. No - I had been playing around with the idea of having my 5/6/7 OL and then have regular going down to the wedges. I do really like the 4H at that length as I feel really comfortable hitting it out of either the fairway or light rough (where I spend most of my time)
  3. If you really don't have a preference - I know some manufacturers offer trial sleeves (Cut, VICE), but I think I've seen a Bridgestone trial pack as well, I'd really just play a variety until you find something you like.
  4. I play Vice's Pro+ and have been happy with them, I've bounced all around with whatever I can get a decent deal on or gifted boxes from Kirkland to TM to ProV1s and I like the way the Vice's feel and I'm a sucker for that obnoxious Neon Red they have since no one really plays those at all. I'll probably give the new Cut DC Yellows a try when I run out of these as I've also enjoyed the Cuts.
  5. I may be speaking out of turn here, but I don't think there's a "best" ball to use per say..it's more of a personal preference Yes - swing speed does make a difference, and also how much spin you put on the ball, but at the end of the day, depending on what your goals are and how much "feel" you have, I think it just comes down to playing whatever ball makes you happy. I'm sure there's some MGS blind test that can be run on different handicaps with a myriad of balls, and discover it really just comes down to how it "feels" for each individual golfer. This is just my opinion though, so put away your pitchforks.
  6. Let's see, outside of an abundance of balls (see: hack golfer/degenerate) 2 - tall boy coozies 1 - regular coozie 5-6 - divot tools 1 - bluetooth speaker 1 - windbreaker 1 - handwarmer 1 - sunscreen 1 - tube of electrolyte tabs
  7. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I've been playing for about 2 years this July - My handicap is around 20, I can have really good days where I can shoot consistent bogey golf and land in the high 80s/low 90s and then blow up days where I stop scoring What do you love about golf? I love getting outside and challenging myself, I've been a team sport guy my whole life, so it's nice to have a hobby where I don't need to rely on other people to enjoy What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I've been broadening my Golf knowledge intake recently and have been following MGS on instagram for sometime now, so I figured why not join the community Where are you from? What is your home course? San Diego, CA and my home course is the Balboa Park Muni What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Torrey Pines and Torrey Pines, it's an awesome track and I'd play there way more often if I could, sadly, I don't want to deal with the fray of everyone coming to San Diego playing Torrey, so I don't play as much as I'd like, plus non-residents get railed with the green fee. What do you do for a living? I'm an accountant How’d you pick your user name? It's my initials
