It is the same adapter, only marked differently. The F9 adapter has STD, +1.0, +1.5, +1.0D, Draw, -1.0D, -1.5 & -1.0. You add or subtract those amounts from the marked loft on the driver which will be 9.0, 10.5 or 12.

The F6 has a STD loft of 10.5 and the adapter is marked 10.5, 11.5, 12, 11.5D, 10.5D, 9.5D & 9. If you get a 10.5* F9, the loft markings will be correct for all settings. If you get a 9* F9, they will all be 1.5* LESS than what they are marked in each setting. If you get a 12* F9, they will all be 1.5* MORE than what they are marked in each setting.

Draw settings are more upright lie than standard settings.

Awesome thanks for sharing that detail.  This may be the route I go then!

  2. Does anyone here know if the Cobra F9 and possibly the SZ adapter would be the same as a Cobra F6? I have an F6 and thinking about just picking up an F9 or SZ head if my existing shaft would still work.  TIA

  3. All the time! I played 18 yesterday and I think I used it on 6 tee shots.  I hit the ball a decent ways 280-285 Driver.  So the straight 250-260 3W comes in handy on days were driver just isn't working, or course is tighter.  Also pulled it out of the bag for two approach shots to par 5, two good shots as well I must say both landing about 10 yards short.

    1. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? 22 Years.  About an 8.  Typically High 70s to low 80s

    2. What do you love about golf? The strive to always improve.  Being outdoors, spending time with friends and family.  That well struck shot that you think about for days until you get back out there.

    3. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? Been reading and using info for a year or two now.  Finally taking the leap.  I know no others active in the forum.

    4. Where are you from? What is your home course? Dallas region.  Rusted Rail Crandall.

    5. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Multiple great course nearby.  Probably only downside is it's pretty flat, so some course are uninspiring.

    6. What do you do for a living? Account Manager

    7. How’d you pick your user name? Name and birth year
