  1. Saw via this link on their website https://us.e https://us.evnroll.com/custom-er/ The question I wanna know is as a left handed person if I can get my regular ER7 murdered out in black as a custom option. They haven’t released a murdered out putter for lefties yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Given I’m playing a Ping G5 driver and Callaway Big Bertha irons from 2004 I think my game should definitely improve! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I had to double check, I played that course a decent bit in high school. I’m hoping next year to get fit at True Spec north of the city. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah I think from my testing the larger putter grip also helped in distance control (Super Stroke). I'd imagine it'll take a bit of getting used to like warming up with any club. Good idea on start line and distance control. Any good drills for distance control? Yes absolutely, maybe I'll putt into a cup. Haha how many putters are in your collection? Stupid question but what's a putting machine? Yes it will be tough to not use my own putter. That said like you said I'll need to resist to get used to the new putter. Good point, I'll keep those in mind. What helped you get used to the speed of the putter? Haha yes go get fit! The putter fitting was so cool! That's a good point, both are mallets so I'm sure it's just a case of putting more with the putter and getting used to the distance control.
  5. I'm getting a new putter that's in the process of shipping. When the new putter arrives (I was fit for it), what should I do to get used to the putter? Should I just do some drills and dedicate a few practice sessions to putting? Excited to play with my Evnroll ER7!
  6. Any update on how the fitting went? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I was wondering this as well. I had a lesson today and it really was helpful. Since I’m lefty, keeping the right arm straight otherwise I get into a Jim Furuk (spelling) loop thing and gets ugly. The lesson I warmed up for 5 or 10 minutes and then the lesson. 30 mins on that new takeaway etc and then we worked on pitches/chips. I remember years ago when I played in high school they advocated playing the first few holes at least imaginary to play a variety of shots, shake off the nerves, and simulate the playing round too. I’ll be honest after the hour range session my arms were a bit sore but then I played 18. Curious how long people practice for when they’re playing 18. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Did you check eBay? They might have stuff like that or contact the manufacturer they might sell the piece too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Never heard of the brand but those wedges look amazing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. For instance when I got fit for a putter I was fitted into a heavier head and weighted grip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Update, TaylorMade M6 clubs, TaylorMade wedges and felt good. Still getting used to them but more then happy for the week being able to play with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Good news, the resort place is letting me rent clubs for the week which is awesome especially as a lefty. Thankfull, now gotta go gloveless and buy some balls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. I’m headed to Carlsbad and it seems the place I’m staying at due to Covid won’t allow Club rental. I am a lefty though so it’s a bit harder. Suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah I won’t be playing for a couple weeks so I’m sure it’ll heal by then Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. So I got a blister on my thumb (hand where I don’t wear a glove). Any tips to heal it? I’ve used Newskin in the past. Tips? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I take that back, Dave Pelz doesn’t offer the grips though years ago I think he did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I remember Dave Plez had some special grips years ago that you could really grip down on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. I have a Ping G5 driver I still use. I’m itching to upgrade so I’d love to see what improvements I’d get. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah I decided to pull the trigger and order through the fitter. It’ll be like a month or so until I get the club but I’d rather get it to the exact specs I need. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks all, I'm currently playing in Arizona right now (Tucson) so I'm sure the heat had a large part to due with the wear on it too. I'll definitely be buying a glove once this one rips.
  25. So I wanted to ask before I pulled the trigger. I got fit last summer for a putter last summer at TXG! The experience was fantastic and I really enjoyed my fitter. Plus the conversion rate of Canadian to US $ was a nice difference in price too. Finally at the point of playing enough golf at the moment to justify buying the putter. I'm a lefty by the way too. My specs are for the most part standard or easily purchased from the club manufacturer. EvnRoll ER7 club, left handed. Where it gets tricky is the 1.5 loft. The manufacturer doesn't have half lofts, I'd imagine because of this it would make most sense to buy directly from my fitter who will do the .5 loft adjustment and make sure I have the other specs exact to my fitting. Also it has me as "1 wrap logo up", not quite sure what that means. My concern is shipping time from Canada. I'll be going back to Chicago for a couple days, then headed to California. After that I'll be back in Arizona for a few weeks. I'll actually be right by EvnRoll headquarters in Carlsbad while in California for a week. That said I'd imagine I'd have to book a fitting with them to get the tweaks I need. Plus with quarantine they might only be doing pickup only. Thoughts?
