  1. I have some work coming up later this year in Boise. What are some other good options, if any for golf in the area? Nice review!
  2. I think Grand Rapids, MI is a great option. Interesting city with a number of fantastic breweries. Minor league sports. And some very reasonable golf courses. Pilgrims Run, Stoatin Brae, The Mines, and Diamond Springs are all nice.
  3. Ravisloe in Homewood, IL outside of Chicago is Donald Ross gem in the south suburbs. Went public after years being private and has a great classic feel.
  4. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I've been playing since I was a kid ~10-11 years old. I have been working on my game the past few years in order to try to get to a competitive level and am hover around 2-3 handicap right now. What do you love about golf? I love being outdoors, the mental challenge it presents, and the feeling of a well struck shot exactly how you envisioned it. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I am joining golfspy bc I have been a long time reader and love the content that they push out. I think this will just be another great way to get involved and see the opinions of other readers. I have seen that there are some cool testing opportunities for full time forum members, which is another great incentive. Where are you from? What is your home course? I am from Chicago, IL and enjoy playing Ravisloe in Homewood, IL. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? The best is the quality of the courses in the area and the volume. The downside is that most of them are private. Also, the winters are brutal. What do you do for a living? I am an engineer. How’d you pick your user name? It is just a nickname followed by my high school sports #.
