If skying shots with my sand wedge to test the roof net risks putting holes in my garage ceiling, so be it!

Ill be impressed if you manage to hit over this net. With the attached top portion it should sit like 10.5' high (And the top is closer to you than the net portion). If you are hitting from 8-10 ft away from the net, you would need to be hitting at like a 60* angle off a tight lie from a range mat. Not saying its impossible, just that I'll be impressed!

  2. I have the rukket hack net and the spornia Mini net for pop up styles, then built a more permanent set up in my backyard as well. I thought about getting the SPG8 and ditching my bigger set up, but after having the small one I don’t think it will last in my backyard. That said, the spornia mini seems better built than the rukket. My concern with the SPG8 is that the mini I have is sitting inside on a flat surface, but still leans to the side on its own. I Image a unit that is 60% bigger will have just as much if not more of an issue not even counting the wind if you use it outside.

Good luck to all the tester entries. I am sure whoever gets it will enjoy it even if it leans a bit!

While I am certainly happy to have this opportunity, I'm saddened a that at came at your expense.  With luck, you'll get another chance in the very near future.

Its all good! I am happy to pass along the joy of testing. I got to do one a while back for a mygolfspy on a Tour Edge Hybrid and it has since been one of the best clubs in my bag. Hopefully the same goes for you on this test.

Thanks to Sub70 for providing the clubs, and to MyGolfSpy for selecting me.

Glad you were able to fill in my spot. I had some stuff come up and was not able to accept the selection for this test. I look forward to seeing how this test goes and hope this club fills that 190-200 yard spot you are looking at!

Hour 45 since close of applications...I’ve begun to hallucinate.

There’s a strange dog following me around named MIM.

    On a more serious note...

Had a thought on my way home from work. I’m like two hours from Cobra HQ. Do you think they’d be up for a tour and walkthrough of the R&D process to go along with the CCC5? I think that’d be a really cool thing to add to the thread.

Maybe if you are selected you can get your fitting with them right there as part of the process.

That's what I did.  I played my 5th round and "unlocked" the Arccos Caddie.  I love using the sensors!  No problems with the link and I'm loving some of the results, especially today... (pick me!, pick me!)

For such a long drive, that is a pretty short 8i 😉

    JK. Nice hole!

I know I know, trying to make the joke work.  Work with me here...

I think I know what the problem is...You tested the golf balls with a different compression gauge the first and 2nd time and don't remember which was which when asked about it. Also @B.Boston's golf ball you tested was turned in by his competition so who really knows if they tampered with it first...

Ohh and side note...Everybody else is doing it...

  8. Interested in the results of this. Have been considering testing some sub70 wedges and heard good things from a friend about the hybrid. I did a test on the Tour edge hybrid last year and still love it. Wishing the best on the chosen testers that they love their club as much as I do!
