  1. Accuracy!! The golf course rewards you for hitting fairways, more accuracy, lower scores!
  2. Ah! Makes since, relatively new to the game so appreciate the explanation. Was just fitted for the TS2 hybrids but may just have to wait for the new new to come before pulling the trigger!
  3. The TSi hybrids aren't going to stay with the iron cycle? I just assumed we wouldn't see that until fall.
  4. I'm currently gaming a SiM Max 10.5 c Ventus Blue 6R, and a SiM Max Fairway 15 deg. I tested the TSi2 10 deg driver and 15 deg fairway with respective Hzrdous Smoke stiff shaft on a Titleist Thursday. The TSi fairway was going 10 yards farther than my current driver and I added 30 yards of distance with the TSi driver. I think a lot of it is due to being in a regular flex shaft and having a ton of spin and ballooning, but still loved the sound and feel of it. Apparently I need to start entering some raffles to get some new gear!!
  5. I recently did a club fitting which showed that I was in the totally wrong clubs for my game. I am looking to sell and wanting to keep together as much as possible. I'll post the description and some pictures. If interested shoot me a message and we can see what we can work out. Great clubs. 1 full season with all clubs. All marks are cosmetic, all lofts and lies are standard. Will ship at buyers expense to ConUS but local pick up preferred. PayPal or Venmo preferred. Ideally I'd like to get as close to $1500 as possible so I included a price breakdown but I am open to negotiation.
  6. They don't keep the specific data but he did remember that swing speed was in the 90's so the 175 must've been carry not roll out, I remember with T300 was around 168 average. Either way super happy with the process and super excited to get some new sticks and to try to improve my game more!!
  7. He had me trial a few different shafts and flexes and the s300 were what had best landing angles and dispersion and that was his thought process to help with more GIR's. I sent him an emailing asking if he had the specific numbers or if he remembers, I'm wondering if I misunderstood club head speed as ball speed.
  8. First Name/City State - Matt / Liberty, Missouri Have You Ever Used a Hitting Net - Yes, cheap Callaway one from Target Do you use any sort of LM with one - No, hopefully getting Rapsodo for x-mas
  9. It might have been me misunderstanding, I thought he said ball speed but he could have meant carry. I remember club head speed was 92mph, and roll out ended up around 175 because he made a comment that that was a huge jump, I believe he said I made a 3 club jump essentially by having stiff shaft and T200. I wonder if the club speed I thought he was talking about is ball speed? I'm not sure to be honest, so much numbers were thrown at me I can't honestly recall.
  10. Wanted to provide an update. I did the Titleist Thursday yesterday and it was very informative. The experts started laughing when I told them about my experience. Once I started swinging they were shocked. My club head speed with 7 iron was consistently in the 90's and ball speed was averaging in the 120's. The second he put me in a stiff shaft with the T200 and T300 , ball speed went into the 140s, and my dispersion, ball flight and landing angle were all improved. The T200 6-48 ended up being the best fitting iron for me and utilizing a TS2 19 deg and 23 deg hybrid will help with my long clu

  12. Good morning Spy's!! I was hoping for a few opinions on Swing Grips. I current swing a Lamkin Crossline Midsize Grip on most clubs and Trialing a Golf Pride Tour Velvet midsize as well. I have tried Standard grips as well. I can't fully get comfortable with either sizes. I have bigger hands so thought I might try the Golf Pride +4 line next. I was curious what has worked well for you and how you got to that point of being comfortable with your grip size? Thanks in advance!
  13. My instructor though they were a little long as well but mentioned to try and not choke up as that adds stiffness to the shaft and said to try to go through a proper fitting with what I have and with a few other combos as well. Titleist Thursday is my first stopping point and will continue to do research until I find what is best
  14. Earlier this spring I went to Dick's Sporting Goods for a "Club Fitting". At the time I didn't really know any better. He asked what my handicap was and what am I currently hitting. He was like alright SIM Max will be best for higher handicap, said add an inch to the shafts because I'm 6'1", I took a few swings he said looks great and ordered them for me. I have been having a hard time hitting them, especially anything over a 7 iron. After extensive research, some lessons, and a lot of practice I have decided to change it up. After reading the Best Game Improvement Irons I have set up a T

  16. Name: Matthew St John City, State: Liberty, MO. Current Driver in Play: SIM Max 10.5 deg Handicap: 15 Swing Speed: 95 MPH Which Driver Would You Like to Review: TSi2 10.5 deg
  17. The Sim Max irons are the M6 upgrade, the OS are a super improvement and offer a bigger club face.
  18. I bought a perfect practice putting green over quarantine and putt endlessly in the small hole, I have noticed better tempo and accuracy on course and almost rarely 3 putt anymore. Pricier but would recommend
  19. I have been walking a lot lately. A local muni has a membership at a discounted rate that doesn't count for cart but I can go anytime M-F and after noon on weekends and holidays so I'll go at random times during the week and walk it> Affordable way for me to play more G!

    Titleist Tour Soft

Has anyone tried the new Titleist Tour Soft Ball? If so what were your thoughts and how does it compare to a ProV. At 30 a dozen on sale right now I'm thinking about picking up and trying out
  21. Hoping that the Rona won't cause them to shut the tourney down! I need sports
  22. I probably would not have counted it, but I also hate the elevated cup so don't let me take the wind out of your sails
  23. I'd consider a new driver, the new technology over the past few years will add yards
  24. In Kansas City it ranges anywhere from 25 to 75+ depending on how nice you go
  25. In my mind I would take my pitching wedge and try to run it close to the flag without going past, in reality I'd probably blade the wedge, chip on after that and double putt for a double, no doubt
