  1. Bummer... hurt my back middle of last week (not golf related) so will need to take a break from golf for a week or so... tried to play during the weekend, and I could not even hit my PW properly; but managed to squeezed out a 240m (265yard) drive which I was pretty happy with (might have run a little further if it didnt land in the soft rough by the side)
  2. Was going to a fitting session last night, and used some anti inflammation creams on the neck after the morning ss session, so I thought I have a few hits down at the range as a warm up before the fitting. Working on the timing of the left foot roll on the back swing and seem to have reasonable good result. Averaging 107mph and had a good finish on the last ball. Pity the launch monitor wasnt working, but they look pretty much on target During the fitting session, it has noted my release on the downswing was still too early so there is still potential to improve on the speed. Alignment of the feet was also pretty open so after adjusting for it, my swing path was pretty close to 0 so was happy with that too.
  3. Correction on my part... seems like my observations were wrong... the shorter clubs are definitely shorter now with the ball flying a lot higher, and stopping quicker. Played yesterday in low wind condition, and the kirkland was definitely 1/2 to 1 club shorter. Changed to an older NXT Tour soft and it was longer and similar height but with a slightly longer run on the green of 1-2m; With a ball flight height of around 30 yards will stop the ball pretty quick
  4. Had my 3rd session today Lesson for the day: - make sure I have a good night sleep before, and waking up early so not to rush to the range - Must do the Dynamic warm up completely first to avoid injury. Managed to tweaked my left side of my neck - Stick with carpet range for me. I find that I seem to shift a lot on the soft wet ground (heavy rain during the weekend) and may have contributed to tweaking my neck from balancing and lack of grip So, with the sore neck, the swing speed pretty much decreased across the board. On the positive, the pre session Max SS seem to have improved a little now to take some tablets and ice my neck.
  5. Well this is interesting to read. I tried the Kirklands 3 piece last weekend, and I have to admit it was great around the greens. I particularly like how "accurate" I can be from the 60m range where the ball would just stick to the greens so I can play a little more aggressive. However, I was wondering about the shorter distance though as I have noted my drives seemed to have flew higher and shorter most of the time. Particularly when it was a head wind. Went for a gapping session on Monday and found that all my clubs were shorter than what I was expecting using the Kirkland. Interesting note that I was getting similar spin numbers when I swapped over to a Vice Tour on a full PW shot, and the Vice I had issues with checking the greens on short games. Longer clubs are shorter with the kirklands, while shorter clubs up 8i are similar distances.
  6. Thank you for the reply; will keep an eye on how I progress Had my 2nd session today; condition of the body is a little sore as my butts were kind of sore (haha) after the first session, and also back playing squash with the wife over the last 2 nights so the arms and shoulder is also slightly sore and stiff before the start of the session. another word, I am not 100% ... (more 60% ) this can be seen with my pre session ss at 100mph which was slower than #1. But have noticed general increase in SS for all 3 weights with only 2 weight came down a little So far, I see a increase in Maximum SS of 7mph and Average SS increase of 2.8mph ; hopefully this increase is consistent over the next few early session
  7. Created a spreadsheet for keeping my progress https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1R0Fr4JaK-Q5jj2f_nJN8SN5lGByrdmhkdF2zYeggYRQ/edit?usp=sharing Hopefully it will motivate me to keep track of my progress
  8. Ok, I am feeling it the day after my first session yesterday morning. my left sides (shoulder, left butt and lower left back) are starting to feel kind of sore, which I assume is due to lack of actual movement from my golf swings (I dont exercise much beside golf ) I also went to my Chiropractor for my 3-weekly adjustment last night, and she has noted my neck and shoulder were pretty locked up, and after adjustment it has been a lot freer in movement. This morning I went to test out a 3 wood I just put together (m3+Diamana Blue) and it has to be the best speed and contact I have made compare to before (220y carry 250y total) I am not a big hitter, and didnt try to swing hard or fast, and was getting average 100mph with the 3 wood. Balls were usual range balls, and distance was from Toptracer, so the results are not 100%; My previous trackman gapping session showed a swing speed of 91mph for my other 3 wood. Will be interesting to see if this is an equipment difference or result from the superspeed session
  9. Is there any benefit/harm of doing the program on a daily basis?
  10. thanks for the feedback. It seems like all the reviews I have watched on Youtube, people seem to have massive gain on their first session. I guess it just gave me a false expectation to what I should get, thus getting slightly disappointed with the initial results
  11. Hi all, just joined to see how everyone is doing Just started my program this morning, and was wondering if the first day "big bump" everyone is experience is generally for everyone, or did some people not see a instant increase? my average before session was at 102mph with 103 the highest, while after the session, it was at 102.5mph average but with a highest at 107. Normal? or am i expecting a miracle? thanks
