  1. Ok - this in across 50 years of playing, and in no particular order: 1. Whisper Rock 2. Oakmont CC 3. Kapalua Plantation 4. Pinehurst #4 5. Caledonia Golf & Fish Club 6. Bandon Dunes 7. 2. I too am wondering if the Odyssey OG and Stroke Lab putter weights fit the Cobra King Vintage putters. The diameter appears to be equal, but of course the threads and depth (height) may prevent them from fitting properly I have a Cobra Vintage Nova 40 with the std 10 gm weight (x2) and would like to increase to 20gms each. Has anyone tried to swap them out? I called both PGA Superstore in and Carl's Golfland and they were not too helpful. Cobra is sold out of that weight (20 gm), and they also want $25 each (!). And I have not yet found anyone producing an aftermarket interchangeable weight for those Cobra putters. Anyone have any info to share?
  3. Sorry for the confusion - I am taking about the Most Wanted tests.
  4. It's not that I want any data to be excluded - I think it would be interesting and valuable to see how the data differs between low and high handicappers for putters & wedges (only), and possibly why, if there is a difference. The data posted does not separate the individuals out from what I can find. And yes, I agree that the best way is to go test out clubs at a course or range - absolutely.
  5. The broad assumption is this: the best wedge & putter players will have the lower handicaps. Not that a high handicapped player CAN'T be good with a wedge or putter in hand, but most likely not when looking at a large sampling of players. I'd like opinions and performance results of these clubs to be from similarly skilled players when it comes to scoring.
  6. I'd like to throw an idea out there to the Forum members MGS testing lab group; How about "flighting" the test results based upon handicap / ability for items like putters and wedges - items that do not have true 'players' vs 'most forgiving' targeted player designs? I think folks would be interested in seeing what works best for 0-9 handicap players vs 10-18 with putters and wedges due to the nature of their use, function, design and performance. Or even go as for as to separate out to '0-5', '6-12', and '13-18' groups - assuming of course there are enough data points in each to create valid results, Thoughts? Comments?
