Michigan Squirell for those who don't live in Michigan...

Making your own homebrew fuel makes me think of the phrase "The only difference between science and screwing around, is writing it down"

Congrats on your HIO @rkj427 Even though I live in SE Michigan, unfortunately I have not played any of the metro parks. But that looks like a really nice course, hopefully I can make my way up there soon.

TP5 Practice Balls v. Maxfli Tour/Tour X
MyWifesSwingCoach posted a topic in Golf Balls/Shafts/Grips
Sorry if this has already been addressed but I wasn't able to find much on Search. Whats the General consensus on TP5 Practice balls compared to the Maxfli Tour line? I may just get both eventually and put them head to head but which ones should I start with? Thanks in Advance -
I just passed 6 years of being married and the first I had seen of that acronym was from @Rickp... It did not take me long to figure out what it meant

I believe it means "She Who Must Be Obeyed"

Fine by me! Maybe I'll request it as a new forum badge for future members Is it bad that I am now looking into custom bag tags for this? -

Well I think I speak on behalf of all of us when I say that we thank you for your gratefulness of our thanks -
I look forward to hearing your progress, sounds like you have a very good instructor also. And I wouldn't let how you feel about your game affect your enjoyment of the game. I have a buddy that I have been trying to get out on the course with and he seems to have a sentiment similar to how you were feeling. Ultimately, you should do what you can to enjoy the game more (which sounds like what you are doing with the lesson, so good on you). It would be sad if you were to give up the game because you were so hard on yourself.

I have been doing a lot of reflection on my golf throughout my life, I have had people compliment my swing and my ball striking but I have felt like my scores don't reflect the compliments and I could do better. Then this thought popped into my head... I know how to hit the golf ball, but I don't know how to play golf. Substitute the words "play golf" for "swing the club" and that's my thought of a "swinger" vs a "hitter". Sorry for talking about myself and taking too long to get to my answer.

This makes me think ... The less hair I have, should I ask for a discount?haha

Amen to that, When I started going to barber shops instead of great clips etc I could only find "trendy" barber shops with updated looks and all sorts of options and of course charging for all these extras. I was lucky enough to find a hole in the wall barber run by an older Italian gentleman that charges a $15 cash flat rate for whatever you need. great cut, great conversation, isn't trendy or flashy. Just a simple barber, and Mr. Gucciano has a customer for life.

This is the MGS equivalent of a Rick-Roll lmao -
These are the types of things the PGA needs to keep an eye on, I am sure there are more things good and not so good but seeing the goods and bads of LIV can help PGA improve things for everyone and improve their product.

How young to start you kid playing golf?
MyWifesSwingCoach replied to rmvanbuskirk's topic in General Q&A
I completely agree with this. My family has shown interest in Golf (Wife and 7yo daughter mostly, 2yo daughter loves swinging her little plastic club... at us and whatever else is around lol) and the one thing I have tried to do is not teach but guide thru gentle nudges i.e. heres how you hold the club, try to stay still while swinging, keep your eye on the ball and swing away. If I try to direct her too much I worry that one of us may get frustrated and it will affect the experience. Here are some links from the us kids golf site that you might find useful. https://foundation.uskidsgolf.com/play-and-learn/play https://foundation.uskidsgolf.com/play-and-learn/learn/player-pathway-overview -

I read this as "Lie to me... but without making it obvious" lmao

Good Point. So I guess the biggest issue would be whether the tour could enforce a lifetime ban right?

He probably figures that would be easier than trying to get back in after whatever discipline/punishment would come his way had he not resigned.
