  1. I have a fit bit and it also has a tracker, I've used in the past. The issue I have is when I need to make adjustments to food I’m trying to enter. Like removing mayo of a sandwich (Jimmy John’s) it’s a PITA to add what I actually eat. It takes longer than it’s worth to me. I guess I could just enter it as is, but then I feel like I get hosed out of precious calories I so desperately try to savor. I’ll give it a whirl and see how I do. Should be fun as I have the seafood festival this weekend. I already know that’s going to be an entry issue.
  2. I WAAAYYYY to scared to keep track of my calories. My wife keeps saying I need too, but I am not ready just yet. Sad thing is that is one thing that would help the most.
  3. Hey All, Got an Orange Theory in today. It was a good workout. back still tightened up while on the treadmill, but not as bad as last week. PT tomorrow, Wed is with personal trainer Thur & Fri will be Orange Theory. Friday we leave for a short Glamping trip to the coast for a wine and seafood festival with some some friends. Really looking forward to this. Have great workouts.
  4. Good Morning Fellas & Ladies I'm ultra optimistic this morning. I had the chance to go to a local Sim house and see if I could make a golf swing pain free. This is the first time in months (going back to Aug 2023) I have been able to do this. Then waking up this morning and not having major nerve issues, Ultra tightness in the low back or sciatic pains. As for golf on the sim, it went pretty well. Played Bay harbor, shot an 85 which is awesome for me. having not done anything like this for 7 months I wasn't sure how the clubs would react. I could not get a ball to left and had a big OL' slice with the driver. My guess is it was due to swing speed being down and just plain out of shape. I don't really care as I can make a swing and hopefully be able to get things straightened out. Happy Sunday Folks My money is on Xander today. Patrick might be the most steady Eddy we have seen in long time tho.
  5. Up Glove is great and they are a very well made glove. I was lucky enough to do the RR test last year and I would say RR is #1 and Upglove #2 maybe 1B due to price. I did order 4 of the RR gloves on this round, but I always have an Upglove with me as well, or I should say I plan to once I can actually start hitting golf balls again.
  6. I was able to get out and play some indoor golf on a Golfzon system. It was about seeing IF I could swing a club without pain and how would I feel the next day. I feel pretty freaking good with normal stiffness and soreness from not having used golf muscles in quit a while. So I am pretty stoked this morning. Stretching is done for this morning, so we shall see how the rest of the day goes. Golf game was ok, I had to go up a club in distance and could not get a ball to go left.
  7. Hey fellas I’m in that boat as Preeway but different reasons. My low back and bulging discs, sciatic all decided to flare up at the same time. I tried to push through, but that extended my recovery time. I finally just stopped everything “excluding work” to try and get this under control. the last 3 months have been crap physically and my mental status had fallen into the outhouse as well. I’ve gone 3 separate chiropractors, 2 physical therapists, and luckily I found a fantastic massage therapist. If it wasn’t for her, I’m not sure I would have made it through my dark days. Also only one acupuncturist. I will attribute the last month and getting back to the gym to massage and acupuncture. I joined orange theory and have made some good progress with that and also a personal trainer who awesome at working with my limitations. sorry for dissertation, but I’m exited again to be back in the gym and moving even if it slow right now. a month ago there is no way I’d pick up a golf club, today I put my clubs in the truck and hoping to hit some golf balls today even if it’s only 20-30. Keep up the good work fellas.
  8. Good morning Folks just wanted to say hello & that I’m still kicking and screaming. Being MIA, lost focus on the good stuff (Golf & MGS) has me a little nervous about just blasting through the door and yelling for a beer. Good news is, I feel good enough to put my clubs back in the truck and hoping to get to the range today. Back has been doing ok after PT and workouts, so I’m going to push a little more and make some swings. I was optimistic and scheduled a fitting at CC taking advantage of their $100 fitting. I have that scheduled for March 5th. I’m hoping I don’t have to cancel it. have a great day all.
  9. My first post in a few months. It's been am interesting fall season. 2024 goals 1. Be able to play a round pain free. 2. Get back to MGS forum on a regular basis 3. Be able to play pain free. 4. get out of my head that I don't need to hit a home run with every swing. Merry Christmas to all.
  10. Bow season correct? Oh How I miss those beautiful fall days in the woods.
  11. Good Morning Folks It's been a minute, This football season is kicking the old right into me. I am counting down the days/games left I have to take a break from it. That will be short lived as there is a good chance I'll be voted in as President of our association. Good thing is it's only a year long term and then one as past Prez. Up earlier than I wanted as my daughter had her fall lacrosse "play Day" today. It's her first game situation since ACL injury/tear Sept 22'. I thought it was 8:30 her time which makes it 6:30 my time. I was only off an hour. It's good cuz I have a chance to get some important reading done here on MGS. Hope everyone is doing good, Have a great Sunday. +12
  12. Good Morning Folks It's been a minute or 10. Hope everyone is doing good and getting the rounds in. Have a great day
  13. I will say it is a work in progress once a person gets used to this machine. It is a pretty humbling thing to see your swing and the ball contact video confirms most of my fears. It makes me ask the question of, Have I ever hit the center of the club face with a driver. Apparently I am a toe baby. With my driver my swing speed is way to high to even know if the numbers are correct by missing the club face. Work work work needs to be done. Rapsodo_MLM2PRO_Jeremy_Pfisthner_19090615.mov
  14. Good Morn oh crap Afternoon. Headed out for my second varsity game in two days. Only have about a 1 1/2-2hr drive through gross Portland Traffic. I can probaly log on when I get home for the actual morning good morning, LOL. Have fun, hit em straightish.
  15. If I had access to a GC quad I would. I am going to see if the indoor place I visit will allow me to use the MLM2PRO just to compare. I don’t why they wouldn’t, they have given me permission to do fittings there. But that’s another story.
  16. Good morning Folks feels good to have a spare 30 minutes to read thru a thread or two. Happy to see the pictures of some amazing corses that I love to be able to play one day. Cnosil, Kenny and sir Chunk I really hope everything comes out to be the best news ever. You guys are in My thoughts. Football season is just a busy time for me. Then I added a couple extra duties to my plate that right I wish I wouldn’t have. It’s all for the kids and to continue on with helping 3rd thru HS be able to play a game I used to love play, watch and be apart of. Have a great day and better rounds.
  17. Good morning (AFTERNOON) Things are calming down for me or they seem to be other than my sciatic. Hitting/Practicing golf makes the next morning a little tougher. I feel pretty good while I practice and some movement is getting easier so I should be ready by next season. Hope everyone is doing well.
  18. Loved the combine, to me it’s how we should practice. I know I’ve grabbed one club that I was having a good day with and hit 30-50 shots. That works two fold. You can get in a grove and then work on working the ball. Problem is how often do we use the same club on the course more than once?? The combine runs you through 3 different clubs and different yardages. The one thing I want sure it was asking me to use the predetermined club or choose the club I think is correct for whatever yardage. the next part is seeing if I can change the yardage on the combine. I did have have one issue last night. The system froze up while in sim mode. I’ll be going back and giving it a few more try’s before I judge it.
  19. Q1: I have not any issues with the MLM2PRO heating up. I was really curious about that myself and have very impressed that it hasn’t. That said, the hottest it’s been for me when using the unit has only been in the high 80’s. Low 90’s. Q2: yes you still need to select your location and direction. It’s the same concept as the original but this one was/is much easier and seems to me to be faster to set up. I am truly loving the MLM2 pro. I’ve mostly been using it for practice. But I am either doing a combine or simulator this afternoon. It will all depend on how my sciatic behaves today.
  20. Good morning Folks. I an up to page 381. i need to head out to work. I get to be in two places at once today and they are 45 miles apart from each other, So 10 AM will be busy for me. I do get to pick up a new to me pick up truck this afternoon ( I hope) to be able to pull the travel trailer my wife would like to have. So a new club runner coming soon. Have a great day all. +12
  21. Took the Rapsodo for a spin yesterday. I just realized as I was about to start writing that I didn't take a single picture. I have about 90 shots on video. I hope I can put a couple up here. You need to take 5-10 minutes to set your bag up, that's what it took me anyway. Clubs are color coded and also listed by 6,5,4, driver, 3 wood or whatever clubs you have. You can list more than 14, I am not sure how many you can have. There is a feature called "Inventory" for those that like to swap clubs out of their bag or trying new/different clubs. Pretty cool for that reason and easily interchangeable from "your bag" to "Inventory". It is light weight has sweet carry case that zips and everything fits tightly. I put in one of the pockets of my golf bag. The only issue I see with this is remembering to take it out and charge it, That's on me. It is Super easy to set up, much easier than the original. The options and ease to be able to switch metrics like, ball speed, Club Speed, Launch, total yards just to name a few is awesome. I am running short on time this morning, I will come back and post up a couple vids and write some more on this, I pulled up the simulator and it looks pretty cool. I didn't use it, but I will. I am looking forward to that. Short version of 1st impression, I really like it, but there is a lot more to go thru.
  22. Thank you, I hate to vent on here as this should be a happy place, Grandma wants Happy to be happy.
  23. Technically still morning here in NWO in an Uber going through the city I shall not name. I’ve been a rock and the pressure has taken a toll. It’s sad when work is a reprieve from everything else. I’ve played golf once in a month and it was not pretty, 46-55 . Good news is I have Rapsodo set up and my sciatic in full frenzy along with football season starting last eeek for me. 3 games in 2 days. here’s to being above ground +12 have a great day all.
  24. Let’s get it started , Bring on the season and all the speculation, who’s good who’s not and who we think the cardinals will draft #1. i’m a Vikings fan and damnit I want one Super Bowl be fore I die. im putting a hundo on them to win the SB.
  25. Good Morning All I'm running late for everything these days and I hate it. I once showed up to a date 2 hours early. If I am on time I am late, just how my mind works. I have decided my main focus for the off season will be driver/woods. I am miss hitting it so bad, it's like I'm using a unfolded lawn chair. It isn't the equipment its operator. have a great everyone. +12
