  1. I have a Sub70 949 Pro Driver. It has 3 different weight locations, Toe, Heel and Rear of the head. When I first got it it was awesome. I hurt my back and I think my swing path has changed which in turn the driver at impact is in a different position. I I am now hitting low hooks which ib turn has me trying very hard to hit a cut. I called Sub70 and Garret recommend I put heavy weights in the toe and rear. I put a light weight in the heel. I am now hitting big cuts with slices mixed in. I didn't ask Garret what to do after and when I remember to call sub70 its 4pm my time and 6 their time. I would like to say every time I call them they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My question: Should I put a little heavier weight in the heel or lighter weights in the either the toe or rear of the club?? Hope that makes sense. Thanks for any help/suggestions.
  2. Good Morning Folks I got out for a late afternoon round yesterday and played terribly, but I got to play. House list of fixes begins today as well as a carb clean on one of the quads and a wheel replacement on the other. have a great day all.
  3. Greens are rolling quick but fair. #7 has a some patch work on the left side and it looks like one of their mowers might be leaking. Other than that really good shape. It is a very pretty course.
  4. Date 05/19/2023 Course Name Forest Hills GC Gross Score 99 Course Handicap 15 Gross Strokes over/under par 27 Net Score to Par 12 Net Score 84 Net Birdies or better 3 Longest Drive 252 Still can't figure outlay driver. My long drive was with my 4 wood. I did have a one drive over 300 but it wasn't in the fairway so I don't count those. Chipping was an issue and I hit a few shots that were just BAD. It was a terrible round for me but the course was in really good shape. it was a beautiful day and I Was with one of my really good friends, so it was a great day. Playing Tuesday at Pumpkin Ridge, Hope I can get to the range as I think I figured out what I'm doing wrong with my driver. I need to figure out how to fix it now.
  5. Oh my day got better, I have Golf planned for 4 PM at Forest Hills. I just need to get done with work and get over there which I may miss a hole or two.
  6. Good morning Folks. Hope your day is filled with goodness, kindness and golf. weather here in the Portland area has been awesome this week. I haven’t been able to touch a golf club. My wife and I have decided we are going to sell our house probably next year and have started the process of fixing and purging. possible golf this afternoon if I can get done with my work in time. I am listening to the PGA championship on the radio. One thing that is bothering me is the lack of shots being called for the LIV players. Bryson is in the lead and I have yet to hear one of his shots called. I did hear one of DJs this morning so maybe it’ll get better. I am not a LIV fan but I do like some of those players and those players are good for golf. Just my two cents.
  7. What a great review, very well written and our opinions match almost verbatim, just different words. nice work.
  8. Correct it doesn’t matter what a person does, it will get through your clothes. Of it sticks in your skin hood luck getting it out. Epsom salt bath maybe but who has time to sit in a bath
  9. Well it was a good morning, then I went to work, now covered in fiberglass shards. Doing my best to not touch my clothes, my forearms are covered and the shards are working their way through my shirt. Carhart pants are doing ok, but I have a lot of movement to do before I get home to change. Could be an interesting day. Hoping I can make it to the range but we shall see. I might be googling how to remove fiberglass from your body. mall in all it is better tk be above ground than 6’ deep. +12 my Freinds +12
  10. Thanks posting the journey. I paid for this a few years back and got through 1 week. it was amazing the difference that 1 week made and I slacked off thinking I had it figured out. Been thinking I need to re-up. I like what Clay says and his delivery is to the point IMO. It was pretty neat to see some of the reactions from other golfers at the range watching me do these drills as some of them are unique.
  11. WOW from Eugene to Massachusetts, not sure you can get to much further from home. I like Tetherow, couple of decent stories from there. Pronghorn is nice as well but it does have a couple silly holes like 14 & 15 I think it is. Never heard of Running . I have a 4 round tourney coming up the 1st week of June at Sunriver.
  12. Good Morning Folks Last baseball game of the season tonight, Behind the plate tonight as well. Looking forward to swapping baseball with golf. I am more in control of golf than I am a High School pitcher, batter, catcher. Took one right on the bicep last night, but you can't hurt steel bwaahaha. who am I kidding it hurt. Also looking forward to working out again. I haven't been in the gym on any regular basis since February. My endurance shows. Maybe that's another test idea?? Have a great day folks +12
  13. Yes sir it is. Bend, Redmond, SunRiver, Sisters, Prineville, are all considered Central. They all have golf courses some better than others. Black Butte is a resort style with 2 golf courses on it. It is just west of Sisters.
  14. I thought it was the perfect length for me. I find a lot of gloves are too long. They reach the watch (fit Bit for me). With those gloves I found myself always fidgeting with it so it was comfortable. With the Sussex it was never an issue. Just put it on and forgot about it. Guess I need to go in my review and see if I mentioned that, I meant to but probably forgot. I do have one add I bought about yesterday while at work. I really do like the glove.
  15. Not sure if anyone answered, The test was for the Sussex glove only. Red Rooster was awesome enough to send 2 of the Sussex gloves and one Range Rooster. I have about 700 balls hit with the Range Rooster and yet to see any signs of wear. The one thing I would suggest if you get a Range Rooster glove is get one size smaller. I got a M/L Cadet and should have probably gotten just a M/L or M cadet.
  16. Both cost about the same to fix. LOL One just take years ti fix and the other just takes like one session.
  17. Good morning folks happy Monday. +12
  18. Electric push carts or. Push carts/trolley, golf bags, score tracking apps, not sure really, shoes spineless.
  19. happy birthday, Have a safe and fun trip.
  20. Good morning Folks My view for the morning. Not really a beach ocean guy but the weather is fantastic again today. No golf as we head home at some point when the wife decides it’s time. Happy Mothers day to all the moms. Hope your day is filled with pampering and golf. +12
  21. Date 05/14/2023 Course Name Gearhart links Gross Score 91 Course Handicap 16 Gross Strokes over/under par 19 Net Score to Par 3 Net Score 75 Net Birdies or better 5 Longest Drive 286 Not a great day scoring wiser. Weather was fantastic almost hot for a day at the Beach. 3 straight 7’s on the back side kinda ramped up the score. also the red rooster glove is holding up pretty good.
  22. Good Morning Folks, Hope your days are straight in the fairway. Working on my review for MGS and should have time this weekend to finish up I hope. Playing Gearhart Links today with my wife, her brother and his girlfriend. while on the range the other day I messing around with the weights in the Grover head. I may have found a good combination. We shall see. have a great day. +12
