  1. Cobra F9 hzrdous smoke XS 7.5 degree Ping g400 3 wood in standard Gapr lo 3 hybrid lofted down to a 2 iron taylormade m2 4-pw taylormade mg2 wedges 52-56-60 cleveland huntington 2 milled putter taylormade TP5 balls smash the like if you dig the setup if not what would you change? ive been thinking of removing the 60 degree and adding a 48 degree wedge.
  2. looking for more distance from my irons. love the feel of the Mizuno's that are in my bag now, but am thinking of going to a Ping set for more distance. do not need more altitude...just distance.
  3. Driver: Ping G400 SFT 9 degree, Alta R flex shaft. I also have the LST head but prefer the SFT. My miss is a slice and the SFT reduces it when it does happen. Irons: Ping G400 blue dot, 5-P. I like these irons but not head over heels about them. They feel great, sound great, relatively forgiving. Middle of the road price point new. 3 Wood: Cobra King LTD 3-4 Fairway. Adjustable. set to 15.5 degree, draw. My favorite club in the bag. Confident off the tee, fairway or rough. Hybrid 5: Cobra Baffler 5/R 26 degree. Next to the 3 wood this club gives me confidence galore. Wedges: Cleveland RTX 52/10. Ping Glide 54/SS. Cleveland RTX3 56/11. Ping Glide 58/SS. Yes, I carry 4. Putter: Odyssey O-works Tank 7 38" w/ Superstroke mid 2.0 grip
  4. Been playing Callaway Apex CF16's (PW-3i) and haven't tried anything that made me think upgrading was necessary. This past year I took my TaylorMade Rocketballz 3 wood out of the bag and got the Ping G410 5 wood to help spread my numbers out a little bit better. Love the way the Ping sets up on the ground as well as the feel off the club face. I'm still playing the Ben Hogan TK15 wedges (50/58) but will be in the market soon to replace and will likely be going with the old faithful Vokey or the TaylorMade Milled Grind 2. I've been playing Ping Drivers for as long as I can remember and am still carrying 250 with my Ping G400 with the HZRDUS Smoke shaft and will likely ride it to the retired bag grave with how much I like the feel. On the greens I roll with the Odyssey Protype Tour Series #2. Switched to the Ody after years of a hand-me-down Ping Anser that once the greens started speeding up, I lost all touch with. Currently caught between the Snell MTB-X and the Bridgestone Tour B RX.
  5. (4) TESTERS WANTED PING G400 Driver Lineup 10,071 shots over 245 hours. That's how many and how long it took for MyGolfSpy to crown the PING G400 LST the Most Wanted Driver of 2018. And not for nuthin', PING's G400, G400 Max and G400 SFT were also top performing bombers. There were an awful lot of outstanding performers in this year's Most Wanted testing, which tells us one thing – while there may not be one driver out there that's best for everyone, there is one driver out there that's best for you. And with four drivers finishing in the top half of our testing, there's a decent chance a PING driver may, in fact, work for you. But let's put that premise to the test, shall we? TESTERS WANTED! Back in school, whether it was math or science class, they always wanted you to check your work. Well, that's what we want you guys to help us out with. We're looking for four of you to test and review (and keep) a PING G400 driver – whichever one you feel best fits your game. It could be the low-spinning, Most Wanted champ G400 LST, or it could be the ultra-forgiving and Tour-proven G400 Max, or the standard G400 or the G400 SFT – it's your call. Whichever one it is, we want you to give it a thorough going over and let us know how it performs – for YOU. HOW TO APPLY: First, head over the PING website (click here), and determine which of the four G400 models best fits your game using PING's nFlight online fitting tool. Then, in this thread - and ONLY in this thread - tell us the following: 1. Your first name and home state/province/country 2. Your current handicap and driver swing speed 3. Your current driver 4. The PING G400 model you'd like to review Pretty straightforward! Good luck, and we'll be announcing the testers in this forum early next week!
