  1. So apparently the next Callaway Driver will be called the Epic Max. This picture was from a buddy of mine so I haven't had a chance to see it in hand myself but definitely some interesting things stick out like the 4 jailbreak bars with 2 different sizes. Possibly a true blend of both the Mavrik and Epic lines incoming?
  2. Hi, currently debating keeping my taylormade r11s driver and buying a diamana d+ 70 stiff flex for it or using that money to buy a newer used driver. Just not sure what I would see most benefit from. The r11s currently has the stock aldila rip phenom shaft in it and I hate it. Getting too much spin and losing everything right. The diamana shaft would cost me €80. So I could put that money toward buying a used M2, 915d etc. Swing speed a year ago was measured at 98, swings on the smoother side not too aggressive. Opinions and help would be greatly appreciated!
  3. I have a Fujikura Pro 2.0 driver shaft for sale. I bought it in March and have only used it maybe 10 rounds. I bought a new driver in June, and went with a different shaft. It has a PXG shaft adapter on it, it is a extra stiff shaft, the exact weight isn't listed on it, but I think it is about 65 grams. It has a new in March Lamkin UTX Midsize grip on it. Looking to get $110 shipped (US Only).
  4. I am selling a brand new (in shrink wrap) TaylorMade Sim Max Driver with head cover and head tool. 9 degree loft S Tensi shaft $385, plus shipping I got the wrong loft and am reselling it.
  5. BOOM! Bombtech's slogan of choice. Sully, their owner and originator set on a journey to produce a driver that not only outperforms the market share of big-brand drivers, but also does so at half the cost. The products they produce are in bold colors and seek to make a statement when you pull them out of their respective covers and tee up. Do they stack up? Keep reading for our first-impressions of the Grenade 3.0. After a little more testing we'll follow-up with some data and final thoughts. **Edited** We finally were able to get some data on the driver and update! Thanks for the

  10. First Topic post - Driver has left this conversation My biggest error, maybe some of yall can relate, is getting off the tee box in prime location. I honestly feel like my mid iron and short iron game is decent. no real big misses, skulls, chunks, etc. But when it came to me using my driver, it was hot and cold off the tees. I decided to leave it in the bag one round to see how well I could do without it and my fellow spys, I shot my lowest recorded score of 81! I would tee off with my 3 wood, hybrid and 4 iron through out the round and didn't find myself in any real big trouble that roun
  11. Hey all, for my first post I have a question. I bought my first clubs almost 10 years ago at a pawn shop. A year or two later I won a graphite shaft from this site, so I bought a driver head off of eBay (Callaway RAZR Fit Xtreme). I didn't know any better to look up club testing so I went ahead and got it assembled at a local golf shop. It never felt great, but it worked pretty well and I would get the occasional 300+ yard drive. Recently though I have completely taken it out of the bag. I can barely hit the thing 200 yards now. Is it just dead? I would imagine that happens to all clubs a
  12. Testers Wanted (4) Among all major companies these days marketing claims around drivers are getting out of control. Manufacturers would love for golfers to buy new drivers every year or two, at seemingly increasing prices—it’s what helps pay for those flashy advertising campaigns and big-name tour contracts. As a result, the price of drivers has exploded, and it becomes a vicious circle. Ben Hogan Golf is primarily thought of as an iron company, and rightfully so. But when it set out to design and build the new GS53 Driver, it did so with the serious golfer in mind. They feel the

  14. Phil Mickelson Puts In New MAVRIK Sub Zero Driver This week, Callaway staffer Phil Mickelson is using a new MAVRIK Sub Zero Driver (9*) and he played his first tournament round with it earlier today on the European Tour. His new gamer driver has a KBS Prototype shaft, and he carded an opening round 66 to move near the top of the leaderboard. Mickelson likes how much he can control the new driver on different types of shots – he’s added more control shots with MAVRIK Sub Zero in addition to his “bomb” swing which he uses to hit his longest drives. He likes the launch and spin that he gets

  22. How good can a $299 Driver be? How much technology can a company offer for that price? TourEdge's EXS driver was recently named My Golf Spy's Most Wanted Driver in Value. A $299 price for a driver is enough to get anyone's attention. But upon a closer look, you see a great looking driver that offers a lot of the same technology offered in much higher priced offerings, such as Roll Face technology, adjustable hosel and interchangeable weights just to name a few. So as we often do, we are turning to three of our members who we know will provide a well informed and written account

  25. How do you improve on a line of drivers that had a member of the family win the coveted Most Wanted Driver in 2018? That's certainly a tough task for any group of engineers. But the really smart guys in the lab coats in the rooms where nobody is allowed to go in Phoenix are betting they have done just that. And they have gone into uncharted waters to do so. PING has been if not the last , then most certainly the last major equipment company to produce a driver with movable weights. For years PING has stated that it had enough technology built into each version of it's drivers that
