  1. I purchased in February 2016, my new driver Callaway XR16 10.5 ° shaft Fujikura speeder evolution 565 red graphite 59 gr. flex R - SW D3. Attached the shaft specifications. My swing speed with the new driver (set 12.5 ° draw) is between 90-95 mph with slightly negative angle of attack, smash factor 1.35-1.45, carry about 200-210 y. I hit enough to the center and the ball flight is good enough. I go quite right although I tend sometimes to take the hook. Normaly I use Callaway supersoft or Titleist pro v1. I am increasingly convinced that the lack of distance depends not only from my swing
  2. Hello to all. I'm Italian and my name is Aurelio. I live in the Marche region, a wonderful place with a population of 1,500,000 inhabitants (Ancona, Loreto, Sirolo, Numana, Recanati, Urbino, Jesi, Macerata, Ascoli Piceno ....) but, unfortunately, with a single 18 holes golf course (Conero golf club). I play golf from 6 years but I was also very much interested in the equipments and technology, where you Americans are the undisputed masters. I hope you bear with me for my bad English.
  3. Below is a list of the 27 golfers who averaged at least 300 yards during the 2015-16 Tour season and the clubs they use to achieve those blasts(as reported by the Toy Box): 1. J.B. Holmes, 314.5 TaylorMade M1 430 (9.5 degrees), with Fujikura Pro Tour Spec 83X shaft 2. Dustin Johnson, 313.6 TaylorMade M1 Special Edition (10.5 degrees), with Fujikura Speeder Evolution 2.0 Tour Spec 661X shaft 3. Tony Finau, 312.2 Nike Vapor Fly (10.5 degrees), with Graphite Design Tour AD DI 8 X shaft Bubba Watson / Butch Dill-USA TODAY Sports4. Bubba Watson, 310.6 Ping G (9 degrees, bent to 8.25), with Graf

  5. Toney Covey's Recent blog, titled as above, was a revelation for me. My driver SS is 90-100, hasn't changed in years. The M1 is the longest driver I ever hit: avg 230 total with 220 carry, capable of 250-260. My M1-460cc is 9.5* with the stock Fujikura Pro60 Stiff. At neutral settings, I hit it 200, but increasing loft setting 2* got me 30 more yds. Only problem was, increasing loft on an M1 automatically closes the face; the two adjustments are inseparable. The 2* uploft closed the face 4*. No way to prevent it. So, to get 30 more yards of distance, I had to fight a pull hook all day.
  6. Hey Everyone, Just looking for any advice possible here. I have a match play tournament coming up and want to get back to my normal scores, been much too high lately. I am usually around the 85-90 range on 18. Handicap is currently at a 13.3 index, but lately have been playing much higher than that. My swing was much better to begin this year and now i'm about 10 rounds in and its almost as if I'm getting worse. My drives are getting away from me and starting to slice (I'm a lefty) so always on the left side rough whereas I was splitting fairways to begin. Anything out of the fair

    Arccos

I think this Arccos driver tech is very cool and a lot easier to use than the 14 club stat trackers (although if they made the data management and analysis slick and user friendly then I would love to try it, but for the current price I am not that interested). Direct bluetooth to your cell is much better than those belt sensors and if you carry you can probably leave your phone in the bag. However, does anyone know how it registers your second shot to determine driver distance? If you set your bag down because your playing partner is stick handling up the fairway how does it know you aren
  8. My goal was to get out and play today to give a full review of this driver on the course but the weather has been so cold and rainy that it hasn't been possible yet. Instead I took the driver up to Golfsmith to get on their launch monitors and at least have some numbers to post. It took me a little while to get warmed up since I haven't swung a club in a few weeks but overall the club performed extremely well for me. I am very pleased with how low the spin stayed since I normally have a hard time getting below 3000 rpm's. I usually swing around 100 mph and currently play to a 3.8 handic
  9. Again. And again. And again.
  10. Nice and easy now.
  11. As I was reading the excellent Paderson Kinetix shaft reviews, I came across the discussion concerning Spin created off the Driver. Thanks to Jason from Paderson for the following post: Technical Time Out! Relative to lesser of the oblique impacts, driver, fairway, hybrid: 1. Translating up the face, (sliding) will increase spin. The affect is linear in terms of compressive loading. 2. The greater the distance the ball slides prior to the point of separation, the greater it will spin. 3. Luberous coatings, lower the coefficient of friction! The lower the coefficient of friction, the l

  13. Things we know: 1. The X2 Hot is "HOT" 2. The Pro version is always better than the others.
  14. Come and get it.
  15. I interviewed former World Long Drive Champ (1992) Monte Schienblum and he told me the move he used to hit his winning drive 23 years ago, a move that he is still using today to get 126+ mph of CHS at age 48. He also he some balls on the flight scope for the camera. Part of a new Driver series I am filming. Basically he feels that he is dumping the right wrist angle as hard as possible from the top. The body then speeds up to match this, this has really helped my irons and a different move has helped my driving. I think you guys will enjoy it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o59KDjI
