  1. Hi folks, I’ve been told several times by pros that OEMs offer a refinishing process for their clubs. I’m looking at getting my MP4s refinished at the end of the season but can’t seem to find a contact for Mizuno in Ireland that knows about this (or is willing to tell me over a sale), does anyone have any advice or alternative options to this. I don’t want to change clubs as I really enjoy playing these but they are starting to wear. Thanks in advance Richard
  2. Hey guys. I am wondering what the process you use to get out the nicks and dents and scratches in golf clubs you work on? If using a bench grinder, what wheels/compounds do you use and in what order if using several? Thanks!
  3. I recently found a set of George Izett 440 woods (I assume persimmon) in a thrift store. They run consecutively from the 7 wood through the 12 wood. Going to refinish them, but first wanted to check the specs on them (ie: loft, lie, length). I have been all over the internet, checked the Maltby bible for refinishing clubs, and even the contacted the Izett company still in business in Pennsylvania (but got no response). So I turn to the best collection of golf nuts, equipment junkies, collectors, and experts to seek out any suggestion or information as to where I may find the answers. So if
  4. Hey guys and girls, I have a Scotty Cameron red x3. I want to make the whole putter red. Does anyone have experience with painting a putter including the face? Basically I'm worried that it will throw off the loft of the putter and/or make the face uneven and cause putts to roll offline. I'm also considering powdercoating it. Any info and experience you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks MacKie
  5. Howdy Fellow Spies- After seeing RookieBlue7's posting of his refinishing of his Scotty Cameron (http://forum.mygolfspy.com/topic/14152-modded-out-and-industrialized-tei3-newport/), it gave me an idea for a new hobby that I don't really have time for, but want to do anyway. Also, I have a box of Cork Tree Putter Grips left over from a charity fundraiser that I don't really want to ship back and would rather buy one to give to you. Contest: Find a putter than needs some love. It can be your current gamer, an old putter in your garage, or run out to Goodwill, eBay, or your local golf shop
