  1. Did a search and couldn't find anything on this topic, so excuse me if this has been brought up before. I'm having LCD issues with my rangefinder where the distances aren't displaying. The laser and jolt work just fine. But when a distance is supposed to appear, I either get nothing or maybe 1 bar that is supposed to be part of a number. It's the Bushnell TOUR V3. I bought it a little over a year ago. I've already contacted Bushnell CS. They were pretty short and not very helpful in both emails and over the phone. From what I gather, even if I were to send the product in, it could take them up to 5 weeks to have it back in my hands and even then, it's not a guarantee that they could even fix it. So has anyone ever had this issue? And no, the rangefinder never got wet. I always keep it cased. I already changed the battery, left the battery out of it for 3 days, and have never dropped it.
  2. Hey Guys...quick Press Release from Bushnell on a new Rangefinder. I'm in desperate need of a new one, and this one just went to the top of my list (pending the results of Most Wanted Testing) Unique Exchange and Dual Display Technologies Lead Host of Premium Features on World's Most Advanced Laser Rangefinder Overland Park, KS, January XX, 2015 – Bushnell Outdoor Products, makers of the #1 laser rangefinder on the PGA Tour, today introduced its latest innovative laser rangefinder – TOUR X. In an effort to continue catering to over 97 percent of PGA Tour pros and top amateurs who trust Bushnell laser rangefinders, the TOUR X has been engineered with Exchange Technology. Using two interchangeable faceplates, Exchange Technology gives the golfer a 2-in-1 device. The TOUR X conforms to USGA rule 14-3/.05 when the black faceplate is engaged. When users switch to the red faceplate, the TOUR X deploys Slope Technology providing players with adjusted distance readings based on elevation changes. “We are proud to unveil our most feature-packed laser rangefinder to date, which continues our legacy of dominance in professional golf,” said Scott Peterson, Bushnell Senior Product Manager. “The introduction of the TOUR X once again proves we are not only committed to the Tour player, but also the elite amateur player who requires precise yardage readings during practice and tournament rounds.” In an endless pursuit of absolute precision through industry-leading technologies, The TOUR X features Dual Display Technology (DDT) that allows users to easily toggle between the bright red display featuring Vivid Display Technology or the crisp black display, incredible ranging capability of up to 1,300 yards (450+ yards to a flag), 2nd Generation E.S.P. (Extreme. Speed. Precision.) and PinSeeker with JOLT Technology. Bushnell Golf also included JOLT Technology amongst the host of features offered in the new TOUR X. When the golfer aims the TOUR X at the flag, JOLT Technology will provide short, vibrating bursts to reinforce Bushnell's advanced PinSeeker Technology has isolated the target and locked onto the flag. The vibrating bursts provided by JOLT Technology will assure golfers have the exact distance to the flag. The TOUR X is also equipped with 2nd generation E.S.P. technology. E.S.P. provides yardage five times faster and more accurately than ever before. Not only has the acquisition speed been increased to a lightning fast level, E.S.P. provides 1Ž2 yard accuracy from five to 125 yards, and the distance is displayed to 1/10th of a yard. Having more accurate distances enables the golfer to strategize and hit every approach shot with confidence. The TOUR X will be available at Bushnell retailer's nationwide beginning in early April. Retail price for the TOUR X is $499. Bushnell, the #1 choice of professional golfers, offers a full range of rangefinders, which continue to change and improve the way golfers assess distances, ultimately improving performance. For more information on the Bushnell family of rangefinders, visit the company's website at www.bushnellgolf.com. To obtain images of the TOUR X, please go towww.bushnellgolfpr.com.

  4. (5) Testers Wanted! Bushnell Tour V4/Tour V4 Slope Laser Rangefinders “How far” isn't a particularly profound question. But when it comes to your approach shot, it's easy to take the technology you use to figure it out for granted. Bushnell bills itself as the “undisputed #1 laser rangefinder in golf,” and if you judge by counting the number of Bushnell's you see hanging from bags at any golf course, it's kind of hard to dispute. Testers Wanted! But are they really the best? We want your help to find out if Bushnell's new Tour V4 is a worthy soldier in the Bushnell lineup. MyGolfSpy is looking for 5 avid and in-season golfers to test out (and keep) the new V4. Three of you will test and review the standard Tour V4 model, and two will do the same with the Tour V4 Slope model. Put these things through your most demanding tests and let's see if they perform. How To Apply: As you know, we take our product testing pretty seriously here at MyGolfSpy, so please read – and follow - these instructions carefully. First – if you haven't already, you must register for the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here to sign up). Second – please provide us with your name, home state/province and what, if any, yardage measuring device you use currently. Good luck! And for more info on the Bushnell Tour V4 Rangefinder and other Bushnell products, visit the Bushnell Golf website.
  5. Official Forum Member Review Bushnell Tour X Laser Rangefinder Admit it Rangefinder users - when you're on the course and realize you've left your rangefinder at home, or the batteries are dead, don't you feel kind of...adrift? It's sorta like leaving home without your cell phone. It's a disconnected, unsettling untethered feeling... And if you're not a rangefinder guy and you feel disconnected, unsettled and untethered....well, that's what the MyGolfSpy Forum is for! It's also for Forum Member Reviews - and we're ready to kick off our next-to-last Forum Review of 2015. We have a quartet of talented lads - our own "Fab Four," if you will, who'll be testing out The Bushnell Tour X Laser Rangefinder. Bushnell says this one is the "Ultimate," and we're hoping our testers will tell us if it's a bunch of marketing hokum or if it's the real deal. Our boys are in the air, so keep checking this thread for updates!!!
