  2. (4) Testers Wanted!! Mizuno JPX 900 Irons The irons that tamed Erin Hills! You know a Tour Pro likes his sticks when he plays them without a contract. That's what Brooks Koepka did last weekend, gaming the MIzuno JPX 900 Tour irons while lapping the field at the US Open at Erin Hills because he likes them. HOW TO APPLY: Here's what we need you to do --- 1. Your first name and home state/province 2. Your current handicap 3. (April 12, 2017) – Fueling its strong start in 2017, Mizuno is coming off a successful weekend at golf's first major championship. Mizuno had nine players – including a pair of former champions – put their clubs in play last week in Augusta. “We pride ourselves in making the best equipment in the world for dedicated athletes who push themselves to pursue better,” said Ryan Ellis, golf brand manager for Mizuno USA. “In this rapidly changing and opportunistic marketplace, we purposefully chose to expand our Tour presence with players that align to our brand values, in an effort to continue to drive our brand and business forward.” Of those who have put Mizuno in play, five new golfers have agreed to become brand ambassadors. Vegas, a native of Venezuela, has tallied five professional victories, including two on the PGA TOUR. Last year, he won the RBC Canadian Open to cement his status on the PGA TOUR for 2017, where he has compiled five Top 20 finishes this season. Watney, a native of Sacramento, Calif., has 10 professional wins, including five on the PGA TOUR punctuated by the 2011 World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship. Since putting Mizuno in the bag, Watney has pieced together an impressive run. He's compiled consecutive Top 15 finishes at the Honda Classic and Valspar Championship. Glover, who earned All-American honors at Clemson University, is a four-time winner on the PGA TOUR, including the 2009 U.S. Open. A native of Greenville, S.C., Glover has fought his way back onto the PGA TOUR with a strong finish to close out 2016. He recently earned a Top Five finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to keep his solid play going. Mitchell, a former All-American at the University of Georgia, has emerged as one of the top young players on tour. Through March 19, he ranks in the Top 25 on the Web.com Tour money list. Mitchell made his PGA TOUR debut at the Valspar Championship where he finished T11 with a six-under 278. Fair, a native of Indianapolis, has recently transitioned to full-time play on the Web.com Tour. In 2016, he competed on the Latin America Tour, finishing in the Top 10 on the tour's money list thanks to five Top 10 finishes and eight Top 25 finishes overall. 4. Found this little nugget in the InBox this morning. It's obviously baseball equipment related, but it appears Mizuno will be featuring its golf equipment at well... Mizuno, Braves announce long-term partnership Mizuno to open first Brand Experience Center in U.S. at The Battery Atlanta ATLANTA – (Sept. 21, 2016) – At a celebration at Turner Field, Mizuno and the Atlanta Braves announced a long-term partnership that will include the opening of a one-of-a-kind Mizuno Experience Center in The Battery Atlanta. As the Official Baseball Gear Partner of the Atlanta Braves, Mizuno also will be pioneering multiple first-of-its-kind baseball glove kiosks inside SunTrust Park where fans can check out Mizuno baseball gloves to catch foul balls during the game. This is a long-term commitment that further embeds Mizuno into the Atlanta community, and we are excited about the many new opportunities to come as a result,” said Puccini. 5. TESTERS WANTED - MIZUNO JPX EZ DRIVER/FAIRWAY COMBO!! Mizuno means irons - we all know that. Grain flow forgings, titanium muscle inserts and buttah soft – it's the corporate identity. But drivers and fairway woods? Mizuno? Mizuno thinks their new driver and fairway wood combo, the JPX EZ, needs to be on your must-demo list, but we want to know what you think. We want your opinion on Mizuno's latest driver and fairway wood combo, the JPX EZ. In return, you'll get a driver/fairway set to keep. TEST & REVIEW Mizuno says the JPX EZ driver is a high launching, low-spinning bomber with the forgiveness of a saint, while the JPX EZ fairway wood, with its Shock Wave sole, is just plain easy and just plain long. MyGolfSpy wants three of you to test and review Mizzy's latest creations (you'll get both the driver and fairway to test and keep) and tell us if they perform as advertised. How To Apply: MyGolfSpy takes testing very seriously, so please read these application instructions carefully: Step 1: If you haven't already, you MUST join the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here to join) Step 2: In this thread, please tell us your first name, home state or province, driver swing speed and current driver/shaft/flex We'll take applications for the next week or so and announce our 3 testers right here. Good luck!!!
  6. When you think “feel,” what do you think of? In a golf club, I mean. Does the word “Buttah” come to mind? In most circles, the word “feel” is often associated with the Grain Flow forgings of Mizuno. Get a roomful of internet golf geeks in a room and one of them is bound to wax poetic on the glories of his “Mizzy's.” TCS-PFT-GFF-1025B-Hike!All that's missing is the “Omaha!” That Peyton-esque cadence is Mizuno's formula for the new JPX-EZ Forged irons. TPS stands for Triple Cut Sole for “greater versatility and workability from all types of lies.” PFT is Power Frame Technology for distance and ball speed. And GFF1025B is Mizzy's formula for feel – Grain Flow Forged 1025 Boron. Mizuno says the JPX EZ Forged irons have a thinner and stronger face (thanks to the Boron), which gives you “amazing” distance and maximum forgiveness. We Want You!Is Mizuno's new forged Game Improvement iron a worthy member of Mizuno's forged arsenal? Is it a game changer for the 8 to 18 handicapper? We want your help to find out. Mizuno and MyGolfSpy are looking for 3 brave souls to test and review a set of JPX-ES Forged irons. Do they provide the distance? Is the feel up to Mizzy standards? Are they contenders or pretenders? We want you to tell us! And Mizuno wants to make sure the irons you test are the right irons for you. Usually any iron tests on most golf websites are for the stock offering only, but for this review, you'll be able to get yourself custom fit for the JPX-EZ's! Our testers will be able to visit a local Mizuno fitter and get yourself fully spec'd out for the right shaft, lie, grip, etc. How To Apply: We want 3 of you to test out and review Mizuno's JPX-EZ Forged irons. Please tell us the following: First name and home town Handicap Current irons/shafts Custom Fit – yes or no We'll be announcing the tester/reviewers on the Forum the week of 14th, so make sure you're there to se it. Good luck!!! For more information: Visit Mizuno Golf's website here Like Mizuno Golf on Facebook Follow Mizuno on Twitter Subscribe to Mizuno's YouTube Channel
