  1. FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (Jan. 21, 2020) – Master Craftsman Bob Vokey’s relentless mission to design and craft better performing, better feeling wedges has reached a new height of innovation with the introduction of his Vokey Design SM8 models, the most accurate and forgiving Vokey wedges yet. The groundbreaking Progressive Center of Gravity (CG) design concept that originated with Vokey Design SM6, and was refined with SM7, has experienced one giant shift forward in the new SM8. By moving the CG forward, to a position that actually hovers in front of the wedge face, Vokey and his R&a
  2. Vokey WedgeWorks Adds Tour-Proven T Grind – A Favorite of Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas Inspired by Vokey’s work with one of the game’s all-time best wedge players, the T Grind was designed for great hands and a vivid short-game imagination. Available in 58º and 60º lofts, it is ideal for a shallow angle of attack in firm conditions, with low bounce and a narrow crescent surface. Compared to Vokey’s L grind, it has a wider back flange which allows for lower measured bounce. “Wedge play is an art, and the T Grind brings out the best in the artist,

  5. Press Release from Titleist TITLEIST EQUIPMENT UPDATE: The Honda Classic According to Darrell Survey, for the third time this season, Titleist achieved the feat of sweeping every major equipment category at a PGA TOUR event - this time it is The Honda Classic - and by looking at the counts, the choice is overwhelmingly clear. From golf balls, to drivers, fairway and hybrids, and irons to wedges and putters, the Titleist brand is the overwhelming field favorite as the Tour moves from the west coast to the Florida swing. > Titleist is the top choice in golf balls with 112 pl
  6. This is pretty cool, and I'm sure we'll get some saying $260 plus for a wedge is ridiculously expensive, but again, it's not being force on anyone, it's an option that has in the past only been available to the most elite players in the world, that is now available to anyone wanting to buy the service. Press Release: Master Craftsman Bob Vokey is now offering the tour grinding experience to all golfers through the introduction of the new HandGround program on Vokey.com. For golfers seeking tour-level customizations such as additional heel relief, a squared up leading edge, or B
  7. Going through my phone to sort out some pics for finishing up my JPX900 HotMetal review, i ran across several variations of my WITB just in the last two years, there were more before that, but fortunately it's before camera phones were really the thing...ha So here's a look back, if you have multiple years worth, lets see them as well. 11. Anyone using yet? I have the SM5s and recently got a Callaway MD3 just to try something different. However, I keep hitting it thin and I'm thinking maybe the weight feels slightly different and I'm not used to it. (I have the same shaft in it as the Titleists). Anyway, I hit the SM6 a little in the shop and it seems solid. I think the head is slightly smaller than the SM5? I'm not that good a wedge player, so giving up hitting surface might not be a good idea. Anybody seeing a discernible difference between SM5 and SM6?
