  1. Hello All, My first WITB kicks off with an anti-climactic "it's not actually in my bag because it's getting a new shaft". My current driver is an Adams Speedline Super S 10.5 cranked down to 9.5 with a soon to be 60 gram X-Stiff shaft and tour velvet grip. What is currently sitting in the bag holding the SuperS's place is my Taylormade R580xd 9 (non conforming now i believe....oops) with the stock stiff shaft that I got back in high school second hand. I have special place for this bad boy, and it still holds up pretty well on the tee box even thought its 17 years old now. My 3 wood and 3 hybrid match up with the aforementioned SuperS, both in matrix 65's. 3-PW are my ready to retire Taylormade Rac OS II's in the stock stiff shafts. I plan on going through a full iron fitting this year and replacing these, some people tell me that a 15 year old set of irons couldn't possibly keep up with the technology of today....how dare they ? 52 and 56 wedges are my Calloway MD3's both in S grind with stiff true temper golds, the grooves are still fairly sharp but they may go along with the OS II's when I get fit. The putter and probably a most embarrassing piece of the puzzle is the Wilson BlackJack 206 but it's one of the best areas of my game and if it works...I'm probably going to keep with it. I've been playing a Calloway supersoft recently but I'll be throwing a box of TP5's in this weekend at the recommendation of a friend. I'm happy to answer any questions, or take a suggestion or 2 for the new iron set! -Conner
  2. Well folks, debated not posting but figured I've gotta start somewhere! It's a bit of a hodge podge, but here's my current load out: Driver: TaylorMade R9 SupterTri (Fujikura MotoreF1 65 shaft) 3W: Callaway X2 Hot (Aldila Tour Green 75 Tx shaft) Irons (PW-2): Ping Eye 2 Wedges (52 & 60): Mack Daddy 2's Putter: Ping Cushin Being that my wife and I still have college loans breathing down our necks I'm on a bit of a budget. This in mind, I'm wondering if anyone has advice on what would be most worth upgrading next? There's not really a club in here I can't stand, and don't want to go buy something that will only be a marginal difference from what I've got. Hit me with what you think!

  5. Hello all, My name is Miguel and while I've been reading my golf spy for sometime I was relegated a "recruit" sinceI was not posting. So here you go!!! Here is my WITB!! If you read the article about golf equipment manufacturers during the time of covid-19 then you know there is the possibility of a fire sale when all this is over. So, maybe my bag will change. As of now this is what it is and I love everything except my 5 wood. Epic Flash Sub Zero 9degree. Hosel set to -1degree/Nuetral. Aftermarket 10gram front weight and 6.5 gram sliding weight set to fade. Mitsubishi Tensei AV Blue Stiff 67 “Tipped” half inch Diablo 5 Wood Nuetral Stock shaft M3 3 Hybrid Mitsubishi Tensei Blue Weight set to fade JPX 850 Forged 4-GW KBS C Taper Stiff 1/2 inch longer Mac Daddy 4 54, 58 Works Tank Cruiser 7 40 Grams in head and counterbalanced 30 grams inside Super Stroke Fatso Grip Z-Star
  6. Hey everyone! Finally getting to do a WITB for 2020 as I am "almost" finished upgrading my set after a decade of gaming a chain store complete set! My signature has my up to date setup, including bag, preferred balls and current shoes....enjoy Full bag - Mizuno BRD-4 Cart bag in Gray / Red.....just waiting for spring / quarantine to be over to get fit again for new Mizuno irons!! WITB layout of bag contents...loving the ARCCOS caddie paired with my Apple Watch!! Decades old Slazenger Wrath irons 5-PW still in play until I get my hands on some quality Mizuno irons....got fit for JPX 919's last year but seeing the new MP-20 HMB's make me drool!! New Adidas Code Chaos shoes are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.....thinking about grabbing a second pair to switch on-off to keep them fresh!! Upgraded the 3W to a SIM Max 15 deg this year......man this thing is a WEAPON from 200 yards Replaced the Driver early last season with the M5 9 deg tuned down to 7 deg after a great fitting with Club Champion Even though I have always had a good feeling for putting, upgrading to the Odyssey Stroke Lab 7 has given me the extra bit of confidence when on the green!! Excited to see what the rest of 2020 will bring!! Thanks everyone! John (J_L_35) Stay Safe out there!!
  7. New forum member. Looking forward to contributing! Finally have myself a proper full set. Used to be rolling with craigslist and ebay finds. Details are in the sig.
  8. Driver: Ping G400 SFT 9 degree, Alta R flex shaft. I also have the LST head but prefer the SFT. My miss is a slice and the SFT reduces it when it does happen. Irons: Ping G400 blue dot, 5-P. I like these irons but not head over heels about them. They feel great, sound great, relatively forgiving. Middle of the road price point new. 3 Wood: Cobra King LTD 3-4 Fairway. Adjustable. set to 15.5 degree, draw. My favorite club in the bag. Confident off the tee, fairway or rough. Hybrid 5: Cobra Baffler 5/R 26 degree. Next to the 3 wood this club gives me confidence galore. Wedges: Cleveland RTX 52/10. Ping Glide 54/SS. Cleveland RTX3 56/11. Ping Glide 58/SS. Yes, I carry 4. Putter: Odyssey O-works Tank 7 38" w/ Superstroke mid 2.0 grip

  10. Hi All, So last spring I went to True Spec Golf and got a full bag fitting. The only clubs not fitted were the Ping Wedges and the putter. I just changed the shaft in the putter last week to The Stability Shaft and regripped the bag with Lamkin Sonar Tour Calibrate. I'm pretty sure it's the Indian not the arrow now. Here's all the deets. 13. Alright everyone, here's my WITB for 2020: Umbrella - I usually don't have it in the bag, but for these pics & the sketchy weather in the north east right now. Its in the bag. Driver - Callaway Epic Flash SZ - 9* - HZRDS Yellow 65x - I turn the head down 1* to 8* and move it to the D (Draw setting) Driving Iron - Ping G410 Crossover - 17* 2i - Alta CB 70x Irons - 4i - PW - Callaway X-Forged 18 - Project X 6.5 Shafts - 2*UP lie - "Standard" Callaway X-Forged lofts & lengths Wedges - Titleist Vokey SM7 - 50* - 54* - 60* - Standard L/L/L Putter - Taylormade TP Patina Series - Del Monte- 2* Loft - 70* Lie - 35" Ball - Bridgestone Tour BX - Flower mark on it, I haven't seen anyone else with that (that i play with) so its very easy to identify which ball is mine! I recently purchased some Srixon iron heads & some KBS $Taper 130x shafts, so i'm going to be giving those a whirl when the shafts come in! Pumped for the weather to start turning so we can get on the course more than once/wk! Also the putt out mat & putting trainer is awesome, def worth the investment, my putting has dramatically improved & my consistency is much better! I just purchased the mirror to take to the course and work on my putting stroke, looking forward to even more positive feedback!

  16. Notching his 2nd win on Tour and first since the 2015 Sanderson Farms Championship, TaylorMade staffer Nick Taylor has a mix of old and new equipment in his bag. He also has something very unique in the setup below. Taylor also is the first ever wire to wire winner of the event. NICK TAYLOR M2 (17) 9.5 Fujikura Atmos Blue Tour Spec 6X SIM 15.0 Fujikura Ventus Black 7X SIM Max 4 iron P770 4-5 P750 6-PW Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 (all irons) MG Hi-Toe 52, 56 & 60 Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 Spider Tour TP5 The unique thing? This from Ryan Lauder of TaylorMade. Nick Taylor's SIM Max 4 iron (from our Tour team): It's 2 iron length and has 21 degrees of loft. It was originally 19 degrees, but was going too far, so we added some more loft. He hits it "Rescue distance", but controls the trajectory better and hits it super straight.
