  1. Hope you enjoy this setup as much as I've enjoyed looking at some of yours - Cheers MGS! I'll start off with saying this is the first set of irons I've owned that aren't Mizuno and the first wedges that aren't Cleveland. I picked up the game about 15 years ago after I graduated college - finding a great set of Mizuno T-Zoids, GBB 4-wood, Driver, Cleveland wedges, and an old 1969 Ping hotdog putter at a garage sale for $20 with bag (I have all these clubs still - maybe I'll do a WITB with this set too). The lady that sold it to me told me that her husband just bought all new stuff and didn't need it anymore but he didn't know she was selling it. I have to assume he's never let her forget that - assuming he let her live. Fast forward 12 years through several used sets of Mizuno Irons, Celeveland wedges and revisions on all of these clubs I'm feeling great with every club in here, but feeling odd without the Mizuno irons in there. Long story short - Mixed bag, mixed feelings. I acquired the set of PXG's over the winter at a local shop for $400 and figured I couldn't pass them up. I did a shaft fitting and wow that makes all the difference. Right now the DG120S fit my game perfectly. Last year I went to a demo days, expecting to move from Cleveland to Callaway wedges (love the look), and somehow, after hours of hitting wedges walked away with Mizuno JPX919's. Still shocked because I had never considered Mizuno wedges, it was definitely not a brand name purchase - they were just the best for my swing. Same story with the Exotics 3W. Was expecting to walk away with a Rogue - but feel, sound, and launch monitor all agreed - Exoitcs it was. I stumbled into the Rogue driver after I got fit for the Epic a few years ago and had massive quality issues with it. Four Epic's later and one exploded crown, they sent me a Rogue and it's been fantastic. I think the most interesting club in my bag is my putter. I picked this up a few years into the game and haven't found better. I moved to the Spider last year and part of this year but had to come back to my Bobby Grace and it felt like coming home. I own 6 Bobby Grace putters, but the M5K-GT is the go to. Why Bobby Grace? I'm not sure... but it's been my thing. As a side note, I've always played Bridgestone balls, but this year decided to dedicate a year to ProV1 - it just seemed like I should probably play at least one season with the most popular ball in golf. I've been happy so far but am dying to give this years Bridgeys a couple rounds, too. What's in my C130 Driver Rogue 10.5 NS 11g | Aldila Rogue M-AX 65g S 3-wood EXS 15* | Tensei Blue 60g S 3Hyb CLK 19* 3H 4Hi JPX800HD 5-PW PXG 0311 Gen1 | Dynamic Gold 120s Wedge JPX919 50* 55* 60* | Pro Modus 105 Putter Bobby Grace M5K-GT
  2. Trying to figure out if these old Bobby Grace putters have any value. All except one (the black FBX) are unused. Back in the early 1990's I did some advertising work for Bobby Grace when he was in St. Petersburg, Florida. Before he was acquired by Cobra Golf and then MacGregor Golf. These putters are from the early years and all have the original leather headcovers except The Heavyweight Champion head cover is cloth and in the shape of a boxing glove. From left to right: The Heavyweight Champion. I believe VJ Singh used one of these. FBX. I used this putter myself for over 15 years. It's the only used club of the group. The 2200. The same as the version he made for Cobra but without the Cobra logo. The Pip-Squeek with early HSM insert. The Pip-Squeek with a milled face and no insert. The Little Man with HSM insert. The Fat Lady Swings autographed by Nick Price. Early “patent pending” model. Pay Day with HSM insert. The Fat Man with milled face. The Little Lady with milled face. AN-7 with HSM insert AN-7 with milled face and white Nick Price head cover.
  3. Don't know if anyone saw this on Twitter or Facebook... I have a test into them - can't wait to find out what they have for deals. Always like Bobby Grace's designs - have a Cute Kid from his Cobra days kicking around here somewhere...
  4. Up for sale is a mint condition 12 degree SLDR with a Graphite Designs AD DI 8X shaft. It is 45 inches long with a Golf Pride Tour Velvet Midsize Grip. The only condition issues are a few sweep marks on the bottom of the club and on the SLDR logo. It's as close to new as you can get. I hit less than 50 balls with it. It is a great Driver It's just that I hit my current driver just as well. I love the shaft though. It is very smooth. $325 $300 My loss is your gain. shipped in the continental US. Yes that is 30 dollars less than the cost of the shaft! I will also consider splitting them. $225 $200 for the head and $150 for the shaft. Next is a Bobby Grace AMG Fat Lady Counterbalanced Putter. It is a Belly Putter head that is 38 inches in Length with a 50 gram Pro Lock Tour back weight. It is in fair condition. It has some knicks and blemishes and It was just cut down grips and all to the finished length from 44 inches I'd say it's 7/10 condition. It has the HSM insert and is a great putter. If you don't like the cut grip just get a new one for cheap. $125 $100 shipped. A new putter with the same specs would cost $375. Please PM me for paypal info. Thanks for looking.
