  1. What is your favorite training aid and why? It doesn't necessarily have to be the one that helped you improve the most it could be the one you have the most fun using. If you were stranded on a island with just your golf clubs and one training aid which would you choose?
  2. Fellow Tampa area spies. As the topic heading suggests, I'm in a mad scramble to try and fill a scramble team for a tournament this Saturday (Feb 2). I had a full team originally, but I've had two late drop-outs, and I've gone a big fat 0-fer 8 trying to find last minute subs. If any of you are interested and available, reply here and send me a message. It's a great format, and I've played in a number events by this tournament host that are always fun, a good deal, and well operated.
  3. It's Friday, and a lot of you are gearing up for a great round of golf tomorrow.........well, here are a couple videos to get you going.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6pVhdHZfcQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOVilrGGaZQ and for the Ladies..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2c_5RcLZyA

Ryan BroderickBuzzFeed News Reporter Reddit user matt01ss made this absolutely incredible breakdown of something you might have completely missed in Home Alone. i.imgur.com / Via reddit.com In the beginning of the movie… 20th Century Fox Kevin's dad throws away his airline ticket! 20th Century Fox Which explains why they never have Kevin's ticket at the airport to realize he's missing … BECAUSE THEY THREW HIS TICKET AWAY! 20th Century Fox / Via jillcarr.tumblr.com This is you right now. funnyjunk.com
  5. Everytime I introduce someone to the Mrs. and mines favorite little course, Cove Links, the reaction is always the same: Why don't we have more of these? Why don't we? I know, I know you're just like a couple of my buddies "But I don't get to hit driver every hole?" So? Cove Links is 9 holes, it's $15 for 9 and less then $30 if you play 18. It has 7 par 3's and 2 short par 4's. The par 3's are all full length, from the tips pushing 2 bills at times, fully bunkered and great undulating greens. The par 4's 280 and 330 are no slouch either. My point? Golf needs more accesible courses, more courses where it's not as tedious a task to get around and most of all courses that are just down right fun to play. On a Saturday morning Nidine and I can wake up at 7:45, be there by 8:15 (10 minute drive) with coffee and have played 9 by 10 am. We've enjoyed the golf experience, made some memeroies and most of all have the rest of Saturday available to us. Oh and let's not forget that was $15. So tomorrow we'll probably wake up and do it all again. Now I'm not saying forget the big courses, the more expenseive, because lord knows I wanna play em too. I just think we need more of these style course to balance out the cost and ability to play more often. I'm just rambling some thoughts, but would love to hear yours.
