I just added Shot Tracer to my Pixel 4a and now looking at some options for mounting the phone/camera. In their tutorial videos, they show using a pretty standard, tall conventional camera tripod. My wife has a nice one I could use, but it seems way overkill. I thought about one that would mount to my SM push cart handle as that raises the height a bit, but then wondered if something like this might work just fine ($15)? Comes with a remote to activate the camera. Maybe use it at ground level aiming upward or position it on the cart/bag? For those using these golf shot recording apps,
It's been interesting to see the various schemes golf courses have used to satisfy self directed or mandated rules in response to the pandemic. Some as simple as the foam tube in the cup, to those that lift the ball out, to inverted cups, to no cup at all. A quick search yields dozens of companies (or one man garage industries) offering a plethora of variations.
