  1. First to say hello to all of you guys, then I have to apologise if my topic is on wrong section (admin pleas move it if is necessary). I am curious, have you ever used nootropics? What do you think about them?
  2. While at the PGA Show I had the opportunity to stop by the Under Armour Golf booth and check out all the latest in it's line of apparel, shoes and accessories. I made off with these two cool pair of shades that we are giving away to two lucky forum members. To be eligible, you have to be a forum member. Then it's a simple as posting below which model you would prefer. 1) Big Shot Tuned Golf ideal for wearing on the course during play 2) Glimpse Tuned Recovery, designed to help your eyes de-stress after the round and return to a natural state, Both can be used on the course and the Big Shot Golf Tuned is one of the few golf sunglasses that are officially rated safe for driving a vehicle. So tell us below which one you would choose to win and Good Luck!! Entries will be closed on Sunday February 3rd at 11:59 PM EST The two winners will be announced in this thread by Tuesday February 5, 2019. Thanks everyone for the great response to this giveaway. Congratulations to our two winners: Please send me a PM with your mailing address. Tuned Golf-PETERPC2828 Tuned Recovery-PULLEDABILL
  3. Hey guys! I've occasionally had the opportunity of playing golf and always had amazing, memorable experiences. Decided to pick it up as a serious hobby now but I don't really know much about it. I decided I am going to get myself a golf rangefinder but not sure witch one to pick. Saw some great options compared on this site and am leaning towards the Bushnell Tour V3: I've set myself a budget of $250 for the golf rangefinder – what do you guys recommend? Thanks ahead for all the help! James Nelson

  5. So this was just a random off the wall topic today, that became quite an interesting discussion, with some sides and view points i didn't think of initially. Say the magic Golf Genie were to grant you ONE wish, you could have 25 more yards on every drive, or a guarantee drop of 3 strokes for each round. Which would you choose, and most importantly why? Remember to vote in the poll. I guess app and TT users won't be able to see it.

    2 men 1 club

Hey guys, We have recently taken up golf and are now on a very tongue-in-cheek journey to becoming scratch golfers. Don’t worry, we’re closer to landing on the moon at this rate. We document each round and would love to hear any feedback, tips or if anyone else around London/Essex wants to play. Our latest video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6K8KtmpGbA Check it out, if you can!
  7. As a golf fans, I have thousands of reasons loving it. But it seemingly most people wouldn’t take any of them according to a recent YouGov poll. The poll indicates that 70% of respondents regard golf as boring and 52% think it exceedingly boring. Fortunately, American football followed golf as the second and Cricket and Darts tied third. Atheletics turned out to be the most stimulating one. So, What do you think?
  8. See this one as a great investment and one of the best golf drivers for 2017 so far if you want to get more out of your gear this Golf drivers review summarily, while this disc is not for beginners, it is an excellent choice for skilled players due to its consistency, functionality, and durability. Most golf experts are of the opinion that there is no correlation between your tee shot distances and driver length. However, it is still important to consider the driver length before buying it and only choose something that makes it possible for you to hit the ball at the center of the club consistently. Clearly, they gave 100 pt Scores for the Chevy in Acceleration, but it fell short in other departments. It's clearly written in nice colors for you guys to compare and contrast. If you remember anything about that driver, it was, in my opinion, the ugliest driver I’ve ever set eyes on, but I didn’t care because I crushed it. So, when doing research on the G400 they mentioned the sound and look of the driver as an advantage, I laughed it off, but after hitting it I was convinced

  13. When putting, especially those long putts.. you can feel and almost bet that you have the right aim.. but the reality is your probably aiming far to the left or right. Would training with laser pointers to check the aim and whether my stroke is a squared one or not actually help? Suppose I can build the right muscle memory at home with practice then carry on on the field with that muscle memory...

  15. The Lori D'Ambola Fund

    10th Annual Golf Outing

The Tenth Annual Golf Outing to benefit the Lori D’Ambola Fund is taking place on June 4, 2018 at the Ocean Acres Country Club. The benefit is for a young woman, Lori D’Ambola-Douma. Lori became paralyzed 17 years ago on February 28, 2001. She suffered acute paralysis secondary to Lyme Disease. Lori was a life-long resident of Bloomfield, NJ who now resides with her husband and daughter in Riverdale, NJ. Lori is currently employed with the Little Falls Board of Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where she works with children with multiple disabilities and speech-language disorders. She is extremely active and a hard working individual. She is motivated in her professional life as well as her personal life. We are holding this benefit on behalf of raising monies to help Lori and her family pay for medical expenses and therapies not covered by health insurance. She currently attends Push to Walk, a program for spinal cord injured persons and other neurological diseases. The program is unfortunately not covered by health insurance since the insurance companies say it is not medically necessary. However, with regular exercise and a specifically targeted therapy regimen, her risk of kidney, circulatory, musculoskeletal problems and pressure sores greatly decrease. At this time, Lori attends Push to Walk two days a week for 1 ½ hour intervals at $95 an hour plus an extra ½ hour to 1 hour to ride a specialized bike. In a month, the overall cost of just Push to Walk can add up to approximately $1000, not including other medical expenses that are not covered by health insurance such as a breakthrough medicines and interventions such as the Exoskeleton and other breakthrough treatments. There have been MANY new advancements in the field of spinal cord injury and recovery, however they are dependent on the overall health condition of the patient. A cure cannot be possible with only stem cell treatments. The recipients of these treatments need to be healthy, active and READY for them to work effectively. How can YOU help…PLAY GOLF, attend dinner, and/or donate prizes to be auctioned! During the day of the tournament, golf sponsors will be advertised along the golf course as well as in the program. At the dinner that evening baskets and prizes will be raffled off as well as a 50/50. We are looking for individuals, stores and/or companies to donate monies or prizes. Anything you are able to donate would be greatly appreciated. If you are able to donate anything, please call ToniAnn Moschello at (609) 713-4031 or send items to Lori D’Ambola Fund c/o ToniAnn Moschello, 41 Crest Avenue, Manahawkin NJ 08050. Anyone wishing to make a cash donation, please make the check payable to the Lori D’Ambola Fund. Any gift or donation is tax deductible as per IRS regulations. The tax id number is 26-0003658. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the number above. Thank you in advance for your help and generosity in this matter. Sincerely, Friends & Family of Lori D’Ambola
  16. I'm pleased to announce the immediate availability of our new golf application, Myardage. What is Myardage? To put it simply, Myardage is a professional tool for golfers who wish to know how the altitude and weather will affect their carry distances. You enter in how far your golf clubs currently go under a known set of conditions, and then Myardage can calculate how far your clubs will go under a different set of conditions. These conditions can be entered manually, or automatically set by Myardage based on your current location. How does it work? Myardage contains a new and unique mathematical engine for calculating golf club distances based on 6 long years of painstaking research and development. This engine is capable of automatically analyzing your golf shots based on your carry distance, the conditions that existed when you shot that distance, and a set of club and launch parameters (defaults are included for all common clubs). By leveraging this proprietary technology, we are able to reverse engineer a set of variables that exist right at the moment the golf club impacts the ball, then calculate how far that shot will go under an entirely different set of environmental conditions. Why do I need this? Two reasons: 1) Changes in local weather can affect the distances your golf shots will travel from one day to the next 2) You're traveling to a different city at a different altitude, and you want to know how far your clubs are going to go Up until now, there has been no definitive way to calculate how the altitude, temperature, barometric pressure, and humidity will affect the carry distance of your golf ball. Myardage completely eliminates all the guesswork associated with determining how the weather will affect your golf shots by calculating this information for you. Devices like a laser rangefinder or a golf oriented GPS watch will tell you how far you've got to get to the hole, but they won't tell you how far your golf ball is actually going to fly. Features: • An ultra high precision calculation core that delivers the most precise results possible • Easy to read, no-nonsense distance display so you always know how far you're going to hit the ball • 10 different user selectable colors to choose from to organize your bag • A variety of default club settings to choose from if you're not sure of your own • Custom club support for those not covered by the included defaults • Changeable units for temperature, altitude, barometric pressure, and club distances • Automatic weather and altitude updates on supported devices Website: http://www.myardage.com iTunes Store Link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/myardage/id737387946?mt=8 Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFg4FxNfJDFfyudfKNPBypg Twitter: https://twitter.com/myardageapp

  18. Hello Fellow members, Do you guys believe that an application can improve your golf techniques? Today I am here to discuss my experience with golf learning costly tutorials. To be very honest I am not at all pleased with my previous lessons. I have noticed that it is beneficial for early age learners where they can know basic about Golf and basic golf techniques. However where they get fail is the tutor really can not focus on an individual learner. I have tried to get enroll in plenty of guaranteed coaching lessons but result was not as expected. But instead of loosing faith I have found tech support to learn Golf. I came across an application named 15 Minute Golf Coach. I got surprised when I started using it. The App consist of 7 training programs, 32 lessons in total of 10 hours of lessons. 5 lessons are free, each of 15 minutes. Rest of the 27 lessons are paid and trust me friends, it is worth spending. Here I am sharing a link of the app in faith of it is gonna help my friends to improve their golf game techniques.Link:- https://goo.gl/H9bZn7 Unique video tutorials, Exclusive audio guides and tailored guidance helps a lot. The app is BMA 2018 silver nominee. I urge you all to have a look at it once and share your views. Thanks & Regards,

  21. Hi All - I recently made an iPhone app for my dad (who is deaf) to help him communicate with hearing people. Did you know that lipreading is only ~30% accurate? My dad is a 5 handicap golfer and I noticed that often times he'll get paired up with other golfers in tournaments or weekend play, and after the other golfers find out he's deaf they'll simplify their speech or avoid talking to him because they don't know what to say. The app converts voice-to-text in real time and all you would have to do is talk into the phone or plug in an Apple earbud and talk into the microphone (which tends to reduce the background noice and get a more accurate transcription). My dad has tested the app in numerous situations, including on the golf course, and so far the response has been great. The new people he meets are able to speak normally and he can follow along with the conversation by reading the iPhone instead of acting like he understands what his going or being said. Have any of you played golf with someone who is deaf or hard-of-hearing and would App MyEar have helped your interaction? Curious to know what you think! Link to a recent interview we did for Rochester news: http://www.rochester...n-duo/861743558 And a link to our Facebook page with more information and video of the app in action: https://www.facebook.com/appmyear/
