  1. I am interested in purchasing a hybrid rangefinder, such as this: https://www.bushnellgolf.com/products/laser-rangefinders/hybrid/ I have had 2 bushnell laser rangefinders and on the whole I have been very happy with them, so it seems that this unit would be the natural choice for me. I am a little concerned however that this product is over 2 years old. The laser specs for example are similar to the Tour v3 rangefinder I already have, and it seems like a shame to pay for a new device that isn't really an upgrade. Does anyone know if Bushnell plans to release an updated hybrid

  6. My bebrassie test I don't like sensors on the club or belt. I just want to record my game using the phone. Besides, I don't want to have to get my phone out every shot to enter something. So I tried bebrassie ... First I have to say that there is a free trial period. I think that's good. The principle is simple. Go on the tee, start round on the app, put the phone in your pocket and off you go. If you like, you can use a range finder, a yardage book and an electronic scorecard on the phone. I didn't do that because I didn't want to use the phone during the round. At the end of the r
  7. I'm sure this topic was already discussed. What apps have you found great to use for during your round for shot distances, approach shots, putting slopes, scorecard/handicap, etc.? I want to pick one and upgrade to have the full features this season. I had used 18birdies a little bit last year just to plan shots, keep my score and didn't upgrade, which that alone has been a great help and was an easy app to use. I was just looking at GolfLogix which looks like they have green slopes mapped out which is great for approach and putts which could help cut a few strokes having that knowledge, a

  9. Hello to all. I'm Italian and my name is Aurelio. I live in the Marche region, a wonderful place with a population of 1,500,000 inhabitants (Ancona, Loreto, Sirolo, Numana, Recanati, Urbino, Jesi, Macerata, Ascoli Piceno ....) but, unfortunately, with a single 18 holes golf course (Conero golf club). I play golf from 6 years but I was also very much interested in the equipments and technology, where you Americans are the undisputed masters. I hope you bear with me for my bad English.

  11. Hey everyone, just discovered this new tile which has been added to the Microsoft band. https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-band/en-us/support/health-and-exercise/golf-tile This is super exciting to me, as I have a band and when I had picked it up months ago, I was thinking to myself that this device has all the components needed in a golf tracker. GPS, Accelerometer, Gyroscope. Looks like it allows you to do the following - Track round at courses which Taylormade has created - Track shots automatically - Get GPS yardages - Post round analysis I have not had a chance to take it for a spi
  12. Speed Review Voice Caddie VC300 – Voice Guidance GPS Written by: Dan Mann Elegant Voice Caddie has hit a home run out of the gate with packaging alone. Upon delivery to my office many co-workers stopped by my desk to ask if I'd gotten a new iPhone. Nope - just a new golf front/middle/back GPS device, with a really sexy box and an inner velvet lining. Then I opened the box. The VC300 is seriously a good looking product with a stunningly modern and elegant design. It's clean, glossy and something that would fit right in on the bridge of JJ Abrams new Star Trek E
  13. Ask and you shall receive. Thanks Karina at GolfShot for giving me permission to use the screen shots! You guys are awesome. Below is the updated review with screen shots. Those are indeed my own stats and score cards (some old and some new) so I'm putting myself out there. Go easy on me. GolfShot sent me an email When I got the email that GolfShot would be updated, I viewed it rather skeptically. I can be a lemonade into lemons type of guy quite frequently, and I looked at the email sort of like this. “Thanks for buying our app a long time ago, we'd like to make more money o
  14. Hi Folks, Jacob here from gamegolf.com. I'm a former PGA professional whose passion has turned to working in golf related tech companies. Game Golf is a digital sports platform based in San Francisco that provides golfers with data, distances, and stats on their rounds of golf. We launched at the PGA merchandise show January 2014. I've been in touch with several MyGolfSpy users and wanted to join the community to learn from your feedback and answer questions anyone has. Here's a link to my latest round played with Game Golf if you'd like to see what the system provides! http:
  15. Hello all, I have been playing golf for the better part of 15 years, however I have never taken the sport seriously until the last two years or so. One thing I have noticed being out on the course alot more and playing with different people every time (my buddies don't play so I walk one as a single), is that there is a lot of questionable theories, tips, legends, and strategies. So I hoping that you could share what you have heard over the years and what has actually worked and what was more Bullsh*t. It would be good to learn what to ignore out there and what to take as sound advice.
