  6. So, it's cold and wet here in England so I thought I may use this time to write up another review. This time of something that may be useful in this kind of weather - Nike Hyperadapt Waterproofs. https://www.instagram.com/p/BdSmC0HhEPt After doing some research online, it had good reviews and at half price of goretex alternatives I thought I'll give it a go. It's made of the Nike's own Storm-Fit material, which promises to be water resistant, and breathable. I've played it in some insane conditions like: https://www.instagram.com/p/BW-AygWBBVy/ Or real storms: https://www.instagram.com/p/BU4kAW3h9oy And the bottom line is - it did keep me dry. Well, kind of. The quality is pretty good. All nike Hyperadapt stuff is good quality to be honest. Rory wears it after all. The stretchable shoulders in Hyperadapt stuff is amazing. Love it, I'm surprised no one else does something like it. Anyway - down to the good, bad and ugly. * It looks good. * It's very easy to put on quickly. * Definitely very waterproof, even in the worse conditions imaginable. * Comparing to other waterproofs it's pretty quiet. * Comfortable to swing in, doesn't restrict movement. I have 1 issue with it, and it's breathability. I do sweat on the best of days, and in this I felt like like Ryan Seacrest watching Brokeback Mountain. Sweaty. Wet. So as much as it kept the water coming from the outside - it did make me wet and hot on the inside :-( And that for me is a dealbreaker :-( Maybe now that the temperatures are close to 0 it would be better. As I have replaced them already, I will be giving the whole suit away. So stay tuned.
  7. Going through my phone to sort out some pics for finishing up my JPX900 HotMetal review, i ran across several variations of my WITB just in the last two years, there were more before that, but fortunately it's before camera phones were really the thing...ha So here's a look back, if you have multiple years worth, lets see them as well. July 2015 Feb 2016 Sept 2016 June 2017 Aug 2017 Nov 2017
  8. Well for me this will be challenging, as I know the number will be higher than I expected, and my memory isn't what it used to be. But I thought it'd be fun to list all the drivers we've had in the bag at one time or another. I was going to go by year, but I don't have that good of recall anymore, so I'll go by brand. Let the fun begin. Adams Golf: Speedline Bridgestone: J815- Callaway- Original Big Bertha FT5 FT9 Draw FT-IZ X-Hot Optiforce 460 Steelhead + XR XR16 Mini 1.5 Cleveland Launcher 400 Launcher Comp 460 Launcher Ti460 HiBORE Classic 290 Cobra ZL Encore LV5 Mizuno MP-001 Nickent 4DX Nike SQ Dymo Vapor Fly PING G2 G5 G20 Srixon Z565 Taylormade Burner Burner Super Fast JetSpeed R1 R7 Super Quad R9 R9 460 R11 R15 Titleist 905R 975J 983K 909D Comp 910 D2 913 D2 917 D3 Wilson Deep Red 305 D200 That's 45 drivers over essentially 22 years of playing full time. Not counting the year or two I played in the early 80s with equipment handed down from my dad. Even with all these, I'm somehow still feeling like I'm forgetting 1 or 2
  9. Great gift for the upcoming holiday season.
  10. For all the Sneaker heads out there, Fresh pair just delivered !!!!!!
  11. Hi Everyone, I don't post too much, but I really love the irons and the whole setup of my bag to the point where I believe everything is very dialed in! Been playing for 2 full seasons this will be season 3 and very excited to get out on the links!! A little more Detailed WITB than my signature: Driver: Nike Vapor Flex, weight forward, Diamana S+ 60 shaft in stiff, loft is 9.5 or 10.5 still see which flight is best once I can actually hit outside (Canadian winters), Draw bias 3W: Callaway Big Bertha 2014, Fubuki Z65 Stiff shaft, 15 degrees draw bias. 3Hybrid: Callaway X2 Hot, Callaway Ultralite Blue 60G Shaft, 19 degrees The good Stuff! Irons, Gotta say I'm soooo happy with these: King Cobra LTD Pro MB/CB Combo BLACK FINISH 7-PW MB's and 4-6i CB's, so workable high and low trajectories! AND FEEL PHENOMENAL!! 1/4" Short, 2 Degrees Flat, standard lofts. C-Taper Lite 110G Stiff shaft(unreal shafts, tight dispersion left to right and front to back, perfect mid flights) Wedges: 54 degree RTX 2 dot(stock shaft, will replace after this season) 50(2dot) and 58(3dot) are RTX 3 with C-Taper Lite shafts 110G Stiff, just got these haven't hit the 50 but 58 is amazing for chipping and being creative around the green. Putter: Nike method, blade style w/ insert (not a great putter so it will do for now) Thanks for checking out my bag, leave some comments, and if you got any questions about those irons! Attached a few pics, Driver got replaced by nike, old picture had the cobra driver
  12. I have been on this forum for quite some time and posted on the introduction forum a while back but took a long break. I am now looking to get more involved and learn more about the game of golf. I just pasted my bio from my page as an intro below. I take some decent golf and sports photos on my Instagram if you would like to follow (posted a link to one below) username: cragghianti "I am a new member of the game of golf, just started playing a little over a year ago but have progressed really nicely. When I started, I couldn't hit a ball to save my life but I am proud to say I am an 18 handicap today and working hard to improve each week. I am currently using the Nike Vapor Fly Pro irons, the Nike Vapor Flex 440 Driver (getting used to this one) and the Nike Origin Putter. I work for adidas in Oregon so I have been on the lookout for a different set but its hard to beat these for the tech and price! I am fortunate enough to be able to play the beautiful Oregon Golf Club and the prestigious Waverley Country Club here in Oregon pretty often and let me tell you, those two courses really challenge you. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or are in this area!" Thanks for taking a look! http://imgur.com/a/oF54L
  13. Well fellow Spys, it's time for a little spring cleaning. All items are OBO and willing to negotiate. Not trying to get rich, just make it fair. I've been buying and selling on eBay for a long time (ID=pgcsf). I know what things are worth, I keep items in best condition possible and I have great feedback. As for shipping, smaller items are most likely free. Everything else, we will decide best option together and I'd prefer to split cost 50/50. I usually use USPS priority and it's almost always reasonable. Any thoughts/questions we'll work it out. Will ship within 48hrs of received payment. I try very hard to describe all items as accurately as possible. I take great care of my equipment and have no problem passing it on to others to enjoy. Anything, please ask. Please DM me Oudefart and I'll happily include more pics for any specific item. Thanks. I will do my best to honor correspondence in order received. I reserve the right to end any discussion/agreement should it get nasty (it happens, at least on eBay). Finally, I request all transactions via PayPal. I'd prefer using Friends/Family option to avoid an fees. Thanks. Here's the list: - OBAN Kiyoshi Black shaft for driver. 04 flex (stiff) 75g. Depending on head, finished club should measure roughly 44.5" $125 OBO - Leupold GX-1 rangerfinder. VERY lightly used as I bought one with slope shortly after getting this. $115 OBO - Titliest 915F 15° 3W, Diamana Blue Board 72g Stiff. Shaft is brand new, never used it with this head. Club in great condition. Headcover included $140 OBO - Nike B1-01 Converge Counterflex putter. 38" Basically new, owned about 6wks, played 2x. Headcover & tools included $90 OBO - Titliest Sunday "pencil" bag, black. VERY lightly used , maybe 6x - Hogan Apex Plus iron set. Collectors dream. These are brand new, never used. PW has a couple shots on it. Make serious offer - Callaway Sunday "pencil" bag, black. VERY lightly used , maybe 6x $45 OBO - Odyssey putter. Brand new in package. $15 (free shipping) - Hogan Apex Plus iron set. Collectors dream. These are brand new, never used. PW has a couple shots on it. Not from me, most likely the person I inherited them from. Make serious offer - Miura CB-202 heads (4-PW). These are in great condition, LOTS of life left in them. They have expected bag chatter, however I always us iron covers on them when playing. Additionally, I have a set of True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 shafts I'll include. Or, I can build them for you. I build them to Miura stated specs. $800 OBO 4 iron - (shows least wear) PW - (shows most wear)
  14. I loved the Vapor look and I went to purchase them last year and I was not super impressed, sorry Nike. So this year I did something to upgrade my clubs, for cheap!! First I removed my club heads. I had them all cleaned up and removed rust and paint. I also cleaned my VR Black Oxide wedge. I added Bright Green Grips. I added Bright Green Ferrules with 2 white stripes. (look like tube socks to me) I torch finished my wedge. I blued the split cavity (3-6 iron). Then I paint filled the Nike Swoosh to match the Bright Green. Then white paint fill for a clean look (my opinion). Feels like a brand new set of clubs to me and they play great!! Thanks for reading!
  15. The retail prices on all of this seasons Nike Products dropped at Midnight last night. All Drivers are now $150.00!! Fairway woods are $100 and Hybrids are $90. If you have been thinking about the new Nike woods, now might be the right time....

  17. Ok y'all, I've noticed by now that Japan gets some neat stuff that we don't and vice versa but I've yet to see anything what's probably the most recognizable logos there is, yup I'm talking about that all to familiar Nike "swoosh" (or "check" "slash" or as my grandfather calls it "that danged ink splotch!") anyways does anybody know of any Nike goodies that we don't get or is it all the same everywhere? Thanks for taking the time to read and may your drives find the fairway, or at least stay on the course.
  18. Nike just released customization for the new Tour RZN golf balls. Anyone ordered?
  19. NEW NIKE GOLF POLOS PROMOTE PERSONALITY It's been a minute (or over a century) since three-piece suits and brogues defined standard course attire, but golf's stylistic evolution is ongoing. While it still requires a synchronization of function and aesthetic, the sport's progressive apparel doesn't communicate stuffy style or mandate that players appear as crusty carbon copies. Nike Golf's new polo designs, with modern cuts and collars evidence this evolution by athletes to select the look and feel best suited to their personal needs. Collars come in the distinct designs: blade, roll and classic while fit options range from standard — for a relaxed, comfortable fit — to modern slim, which offers maximum mobility and modern style. NIKE MM FLY BLADE POLO As Rory McIlroy explains, “I wanted a great fitting polo. I wanted something I could pull on at the beginning of my round and not think about again until after the last putt,” McIlroy says. The Nike MM Fly Blade Polo met this ask with lightweight, Dri-FIT fabric and ergonomic seams for a full range of motion. The new blade collar design provides comfort with a minimal rib design and a refined look. “When they finally let me try their prototype polo," he attests, “I thought: this is it! I really didn't want to give it back. NIKE MM FLY ROLL POLO Trying on another of the collection's designs, the Nike MM Fly Roll Polo — with similar Dri-FIT fabric, ergonomic design and polished roll collar — Scott Pickney has a similar reckoning. “I remember putting it on, before the designers had even completely finished it, and thinking, I don't feel like a golfer in this. I feel like an athlete," he recalls. NIKE MM FLY FRAMING COMMANDER POLO Meanwhile the MM Fly Framing Commander Polo's perforated collar stand atop breathable Dri-FIT fabric is particularly attuned to Thorbjorn Olesen's desire for individual expression. “Anytime I can have my off-course style blend in with my on course style, it's a big thing for me,” Olesen elaborates. “The clothes we wear on the course almost become an expression of our personality.” The Nike Golf Spring/Summer 16 line disrupts the status quo with bold new polo designs, advanced legwear and radical footwear that takes tailored performance to a new place, for the modern golf athlete. ------------ I must say, I'm really liking Nike's approach this season. They seem to be finding a sweet spot marrying athletic wear with a little style/high fashion. I'm itching to trying on the MM Fly Roll. Your thoughts on the 2016 Nike polo collection?
  20. Anyone got any info or planning on getting one? I've heard UK already releasing them.
  21. Gotta throw this out there... The response to the Nike Vapor Flex 440 driver review opportunity has been pretty astounding -- lots of folks want to give this thing a try. So I gotta ask, what are your thoughts on the Nike brand? Do you like the equipment? Do you like the looks? Does Tiger hurt or help the brand? Is Rory bulking up too much? Is Thorbjorn Olsen not the coolest name in golf this side of Bryson DeChambeau? What are you thoughts on the Nike Golf brand? How does their equipment stack up to the rest of the "Big 5?" (Cally, TMag, Titleist, PING, Cobra?)

  23. TIGHTS STEP UP TO THE TEE Scott Pinckney Performance tights have become a regular fixture on runners and in the gym, and on gridiron sidelines and basketball court. Now new Nike Golf Hyperwarm tights tackle the course, providing a locked-in feel and disruptive new aesthetic. “Tights are good for recovery,” Brooks Koepka explains. “We train so hard on and off the golf course that I think it would help us stay on the Tour for a little longer by keeping our bodies fresh for years down the road.” Designed to enhance movement with a compression feel, regulate body temperature and provide an extra layer of warmth, the Nike tights are made with a high-stretch Dri-FIT fabric that helps keep athletes dry. And as Scott Pickney adds, they also tap into the psychological aspect of the sport. "I absolutely love wearing the tights when I practice and workout,” Nike Golf athlete Scott Pinckney explains. “I feel more athletic and my legs always feel better after I practice when I wear them.” The Nike Golf Spring/Summer 16 line disrupts the status quo with bold new polo designs, advanced legwear and radical footwear that takes tailored performance to a new place, for the modern golf athlete. --------------- Well tights just about says it all. Your thoughts...
  24. NIKE FLYKNIT TAKES TO THE COURSE A street-style staple, the Nike Flyknit Chukka was originally created in 2013, as part of the HTM line — an ongoing collaboration between NIKE, Inc. CEO and designer Mark Parker, Nike design legend Tinker Hatfield and style ambassador Hiroshi Fujiwara. A year later, the shoe cemented its sporting legacy on the medal stands of Sochi. Its appearance in golf, a first for Flyknit, brings a fresh aesthetic to the fairway and a sustainable twist to the sport. A revolutionary manufacturing method, Flyknit enables designers to micro-engineer every stitch of the Chukka to create a featherweight, formfitting one-piece upper while simultaneously reducing manufacturing waste and materials. The upper is further enhanced by Nike Flywire technology for support and lockdown. Nike Flyknit upper technology for a supportive, lightweight fit Nike Free-inspired outsole for natural flexibility Integrated Flywire cables for lockdown and support Next, to bring the silhouette inline with golf needs, a golf-specific Nike Free-inspired sole unit, with superior traction elements in the toe and heel, is added. And the upper is also skinned with a thin TPU layer for water resistance against light rain and morning dew. The Flyknit Chukka has been worn on the course by Patrick Rodgers, Jamie Lovemark and Kevin Tway. It is available to the public in two colorways for men (black/white and racer blue/white) and women (black/white and pink pow/white) at nike.com and select retailers. The Nike Golf Spring/Summer 16 line disrupts the status quo with bold new polo designs, advanced legwear and radical footwear that takes tailored performance to a new place, for the modern golf athlete. ----------------------- Looks like companies are try to make high-tops all the rage this season. First it was Puma and now Nike with the FlyKnit Chukka. Personally, I'm not sure if I'd wear em or not. Have see them on I guess. What do you think of the Nike Golf FlyKnit Chukka and would could yourself wearing them? At least giving them a try?
