  1. The results of the My Golf Ball ball study generated a lot of discussion and also questions as a result. If one of those questions you had is, which model of Srixon ball will work best for me, the Z Star or the Z Star XV, then we may the answer for you. Four of our members were sent a dozen of each, and will be putting them in play on the course and putting green over the next 4 to 5 weeks to see which one works best for them. They will report in regularly along the way with results form both. So feel free to chime in with questions and read both their stage reviews to get their full
  2. I'm wondering what experiences other people have had with the Spalding SD Tour and SD Tour X ball sold at Walmart for $25/dozen. I've bought a dozen of each now and have been impressed to say the least. I found both to be long with the non-X version being longer for me and the spin on the non-X version is tremendous. The amount of spin and penetrating trajectory I get with my mid irons on the non-X ball is what caught me off-guard. I was on a 175 yard par 3 last night and hit two 6-irons and they both did a short hop and stopped hard. I'm a more of a sweeper and getting my 6-iron to hop and st
  3. Hello everyone, I have been playing callaway chrome soft for quite some time. I have tried other balls here and there, such as pro v1, bridgestone e6 and tour 330, maxfli tour, and just recently the supersoft from callaway. This is from the time i started playing 5 years ago up until last weekend. I love the way the chrome soft feel on a well hit shot and it was ok on mishits. The supersoft was less erratic and i will find out this weekend more about the distance. Im not even remotely close to a scratch golfer, but i figure straighter is better and should result in lower scor
  4. Here's a topic that isn't discussed anywhere near as much as it should be... Golf gloves. Maybe it's not as sexy as a brand new driver or some shiny wedges, but in my opinion a decent glove gives so much confidence and may be worth a handful of strokes per round (no pun intended). Am I right? I've tried a huge number of gloves in the short time that I have been playing golf and have concluded that my top 3 (at the moment) are as follows: (pictures below) 3. All Weather Glove - synthetic (cost £5.99 GBP) A surprisingly comfortable and soft glove, considering it is a value-fo

  6. With divided bags being of countless variations, what do you all prefer? I have a mizuno Aerolite micro bag that i have been using for about 4 years. I would like to get a new 14 way bag because I am a meticulous person. But I figured I would ask since there is nothing else better to do with this quarantine.

  10. First post here but lots of good sales elsewhere. Faces look unused- 9 holes and a bit of indoor under their belt. 13. Cleveland Srixon #FitLikeAPro: 6 Month Report My journey to better began last November during the MyGolfSpy #FitLikeaPro Cleveland/Srixon experience at their headquarters in Huntington Beach, California. It was a whirlwind adventure over 2 days that involved full bag fittings, a tour of HQ, sit down dinners with all the people in the know from marketing to R&D and a few quality holes of golf. Yes, it's been 6 months since I visited California, but I didn't want to rush back and write something without putting legit playing time on these while still drunk on the Srixon koola
  14. With JB Holmes highlighting it, Srixon had a big day on Sunday with 3 worldwide wins. Here's the Srixon Equipment for each of them. Note they all had the new Srixon Z-Star ball in play. J.B. 17. So I'm trying to fund my purchase of the new TS lineup of woods from Titleist. Mrs. Nut says I have to sell off some equipment before I can buy anything new. Up first: Titleist D3 with either Rogue Max, Diamana White ... asking $200. Very good condition, as is all my Titleist clubs. Few marks on the crown from bag chatter but clean otherwise. Next we have the Callaway GBB Epic Sub-Zero with either Rogue Max or PX Yellow 6.0. Very clean club, no marks anywhere. Asking $225 OBO Finally we have the Srixon 565. This was a test for me that didn't pan out.
  18. So as some of you know, I purchased a Srixon Z765 driver after being recommended by TrueGolfFit. I have hit some of the longest drives of my life but am having trouble with consistency and particularly with controlling the fade...it has been fading to a slice if you know what I am saying. I decided to contact their customer service via chat today because I was reading in their guide that there are additional weights and thought maybe adding weight to the club head would help. Well Jeremy at Srixon was amazing. I asked if there was a place where I could buy the extra weight set and he said hold

  20. Yes .... Mr Titleist is looking for another driver. Srixon Z 565 in 9.5* RH I'm curious if the testing results are accurate or not. So .... what'cha got?
  21. Such an exciting time of year, more than a handful of irons hitting or about to hit the market. Which one(s) have you reaching for your wallet? Me? it's a tough one, but I'd have to say the Srixon 585/785, closely followed by the PING 210. But I certainly wouldn't pass up a chance to try the new JPX Forged or Hot Metals
