Callaway Supersoft Magna golf ball is about 1/16 of an inch bigger and conforms to the rules of golf. Ball can't be smaller or heavier than certain metrics so a larger diameter that meets weight limits is perfectly legal. Has anyone tried them? Does anyone game them? Your thoughts? If we can avoid the automatic dismissal due to it being a 2 piece economy golf ball as already mentioned then we can focus on who this ball is for. Hello everyone, I have been playing callaway chrome soft for quite some time. I have tried other balls here and there, such as pro v1, bridgestone e6 and tour 330, maxfli tour, and just recently the supersoft from callaway. This is from the time i started playing 5 years ago up until last weekend. I love the way the chrome soft feel on a well hit shot and it was ok on mishits. The supersoft was less erratic and i will find out this weekend more about the distance. Im not even remotely close to a scratch golfer, but i figure straighter is better and should result in lower scor
Thanks to the hivemind on the irons forum, I got incredible feedback and advice that helped lead to m,y buying my first set of clubs (I'm a 58-yr-old beginner!) So now that that is done, could used some help choosing the right golf balls . . . I've tried a few different ones based on price and readings, and have been mainly playing the Callaway SuperSoft's (compression of 35).
