Whewww, that was quite a roller coaster! It's always hard following a major event but I'm sure The Travelers will do a commendable job. My quick look at the field is that it is pretty healthy, but after that grind at The Country Club, who knows who might opt to take a week off. TPC River Highlands should offer a little reprieve from last week and we might see more than a handful of finishing scores in the red. Travelers has been a great event sponsor and donates 100% to charities; which has contributed $46M to charities since 1952 and helped over a 100 different entities throughout New England. Harris English returns to play, to defend last years title, following his hip surgery. I personally have missed seeing him this season and hope he quickly returns to form. Don't forget to make your pick for this weeks winner https://runmypools.com/JRMPNWWF. Good luck!

A little hard to follow on the heels of the U.S. Open (or any major event for that matter) but The Travelers, originally founded 69 years ago as the Insurance City Open, does a pretty solid job of keeping us fans energized. Travelers and the Greater Hartford Community Foundation have amassed a whopping $44M in donations over the years. I always find it fascinating to learn about the behind the scenes, positive impact the PGA events and their sponsors make across an array of special needs. As a Travelers customer, this helps ease the sting of those insurance premiums... a wee bit . A par 70 and a bit shorter than many stops, we can expect the winning score to be pushing the 20 under mark. Will DJ hold serve and defend last years victory? Will Bubba notch his 4th win here? A few of the big names took the week off but still a solid field. I'm a little surprised Speith is not attending given he won here in 2017. Who's on your radar for the win?
