Hey All - Yeah the ads on GC may seem a little weird (and, yeah, Gary McCord may endorse anything to make a buck), but ..... on other forums and on Amazon this program seems to have gotten a lot of favorable reviews.... So... Has anyone tried it? They're running a Black Friday special on their website, valid through the weekend. Thanks!

Hi Everyone. I have recently purchased the Superspeedgolf.com training aids. The idea of this speed over training is to get your body to break through some swing speed barriers to add speed to your swing and therefore increase driver distance. I plan to update this with thoughts, results, photos, the odd video, to show you an honest review as I try to ramp up the speed with the big stick. Stay tuned.

It feels like forever since the sun was last shining here in northern England and I was able to get out and hit some golfballs in the garden... although it was actually only 8 days ago! We're forecast some nice dry weather this weekend so I hope to get out there once again and teach myself some basics to improve my short game. Last week I tried a cricket-style shot, as suggested by my brother, where I decrease loft by keeping my hands in front of the club head and pushing through, popping the ball up off the ground and landing with little back spin. It is a delicate little shot, wh

This past Sunday I stumbled across (again) the Tour Tempo website. Basically they are promoting a method to train yourself to have a more tempo'd swing. Of course once you have that you'll strike the ball better with increased distance, accuracy, etc. Ok, I can use that. I thought the idea of using the app and listening to the tones might help my game in some measure. Sure couldn't hurt. The app is quite expensive as far as apps go. $25. I plan to get out tomorrow and give Tour Tempo a try. Have any of you guys tried it? Any success? Thoughts?

I've been enjoying following my buddy Colby, AKA Quite the Chap as he pursues his quest for greater swing speed this winter/spring. Thought I'd share his vlog with you guys because they are quite entertaining and you may get something out of it. And I'll say for anyone wondering if the kid can play, Colby is the real deal scratch player.

I've ordered and it's in transit the new DST Golf - Compressor 8i training club. I've never seen anything like it. A golf club with a curved shaft. The idea is to get you in the proper position at impact with hands forward thereby compressing the ball. Ball first you know. This club caught my eye while reading a recent post by Golfspy Barbajo. He had listed several products from the PGA Show he thought were interesting and the DST Compressor was one of them. I've said before that I'm not a huge training aid guy but; maybe I am somewhat. I should receive my club by Friday and if the weather hol

Welcome To The Beginning Of The Season, Now Be Careful! How's that for a backhanded invitation? I know that many of you are on the verge of digging out of the drifts and getting on the course for the first time this year. You will have a great time! Your swing may be winter-rusty, but who cares, you are finally playing golf. For some of you, opening weekend at the course means 18, or maybe 36 holes a day. Your brain is fiending for more and more golf. Give it what it wants. Winter really sucked this year! Then on Monday, you'd get out of bed and hope to ditch work and play agai
