Testers Wanted!

TaylorMade Qi10 Drivers-27.jpg

The TaylorMade Qi10 drivers were one of our most requested products for member testing. It is no surprise to see why, either, with several PGA Tour pros putting them into their bags immediately from launch, and even Colin Morikawa finally replacing his original TaylorMade SIM in favor of the new TaylorMade Qi10 Max. Yes, that’s correct—a tour player using the Max head.

About The TaylorMade Qi10 Series

The series of drivers consists of three models: the Qi10 Max, Qi10 LS (low spin), and Qi10 Standard. Each has slightly different weight placements, but only the LS model includes a moveable weight.

The big story for these drivers is forgiveness. TaylorMade has created its first driver with 10k MOI points. To read all the finer details of why this matters, you can see our full overview here: TaylorMade Qi10 Drivers First Look

The shorter version is TaylorMade has leveraged a multi-material design, relocated mass, and improved shapes to achieve maximum forgiveness within each model while claiming to still retain all the speed (and therefore distance) characteristics.

Other big changes to the driver include the face and crown. Where previous versions for years had a clear distinction between where the titanium support met the carbon crown, the Qi10 features a clean glossy black crown with a new blue carbon face. The blue replaces the red of the Stealth models and is their third generation of carbon driver face.

Also this would go so well with my new QI irons I just got fitted for lol

What shaft did you end up in?  I see they are still offering the KBS 85mt in steel.  Thats what I ended up with for my sim2OS.

This is awesome! But... it feels too early for some of us northerners ☹️  don't think I'd be able to give it a fair test considering it would be range/rubber tees only for the first 4-6 weeks.

Yep, better pick us Southerners… 🙂

Time to break the forum.

First time we have had TaylorMade involved and truly so thankful!

Enjoy all and get your signups early as when this hits the main site it is going to pop off!

You aren't just a kidding. Great opportunity for some folks. I'm not a TM fan but I certainly want to wish those selected a fun but busy experience. Will certainly be looking forward to those write ups for sure. Great job MSG. Hats off to you all. Good luck testers.

What a great opportunity. Love when you all allow real everyday golfers/hackers to test equipment. Hearing how a +1 handicap feels about something doesn't relate to most of us. Hearing from 6-10-15 handicap players, the range I play on any given day :-), is way more relatable to most of us.

Thank you for the chance to be a tester and looking forward to hearing for those that are selected.

I am in the market for a new driver and have never been a TM guy but this driver is very intriguing. I'd love to put it through the testing and see how it performs.

I have loved my Stealth. Would love to be able to compare the difference. As a high school golf coach I’m always looking for a chance to recommend products to my students and players.

Yeah I ended up with KBS 85max in steel. I tried about 8 different irons, nothing came close to the QI’s. I see they’re getting a lot of hate online but I love them.

I’m sure in 30 minutes this comment will be lost to the ether of signup posts lol but I hope I hope most get involved in the forum, it’s such a sweet place to be. If you’re a golf nut, you’re amongst friends. This will be a great one to follow and dive your toes into the forum. Hoping to see a bunch of new faces throughout the threads! Oh and read the terms of becoming a tester! It’s kind of important 😂
