🚨 Testers Wanted! 🚨

TWSM10-Feature.jpg

The new Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges were released in March of this year and have been a popular addition to many golfers' bags since. We are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep a set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges.

About The Vokey SM10 Wedges

MyGolfSpy Staff member Tony Covey has a complete breakdown of the new SM10 wedges here , which is a must-read, but the shorter version is Vokey SM10 is focused on three key elements: versatility, distance control, and trajectory, and maximizing spin. The Vokey SM10 lineup has six different grind options for a total of 25 different loft, bounce, and grind options.

This includes the M Grind that had previously only been available through WedgeWorks and T Grind that has also made its way to the retail market. The other options that a golfer must choose from are the finish, and the SM10 has three of them: Tour Chrome, Jet Black, and the new addition Nickel.

There’s more though; the Vokey SM10 has refined the shape and CG placement to help optimize distance control and trajectory. This works in tandem with their spin-milled grooves that have groove geometry that varies depending on the loft to maximize spin for each loft.

Titleist Wedge Selector Tool

Of course, all of this can be a lot to take in, so Titleist offers an online Wedge Selector Tool to help simplify things. It is a series of eight questions which gather various information about your current setup and game to help make the best recommendation on what setup would be best for you. To try it yourself, go here!

What Is Being Tested?

As previously mentioned, we are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep a set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges. We want you to tell us how they perform in real-world conditions and play. Importantly, we also want to know how the Wedge Selector Tool works and if the recommendations are what you would normally expect.

The selected testers will go through a Titleist Fitting for their wedge set and see how it compares to the results from the Wedge Selector Tool.

Think you are the right golfer to participate in this test?

These were the wedges I wanted to put into my bag this year. But I just got fitted for a new bag at PXG and got into the Sugar Daddy II’s. I’d really be interested how the SM10’s compare to my current stable. The shirt game is my strength.

Been playing Vokeys for a long time.  Great wedges.  Would love to try out sm10 and see if the center of gravity shift is an improvement for me or not.

My results from the selector tool. The golf set I purchased didn’t have a PW, or any other wedge so all I have is AW. This would be amazing.

I have played Vokeys for the past 15+ years… the SM8’s became my favorites of all time when they hit the market.

Would be extremely excited to try these wedges. Always heard great things about them. My results from the selector tool:

Hey all.

Another great test...I feel like a kid in a candy store looking through a glass case praying the store owner gives me free candy. LOL!!

As I am looking for new clubs, this would be an amazing opportunity.

Good luck to all.

I honestly don't understand a high bounce sixty.

How can one hit soft little shots with the club's leading edge sitting up in the air?

Full swings, sure. You take the divot.

But little flips over a bunker when you've short-sided yourself and the stick is only a few feet in?

How do you do that with twelve or fourteen degrees of bounce?

I go with 4º on fifty-eights and sixties.

I have an old Cleveland 58 with zero bounce, and it was a great finesse shot club when I played it.

I currently use a 4-wedge set up (5 if you include my PW which is 44 and part of my iron set). It was disappointing that the wedge selector put me into 3 wedges which a 6 degree separation and I didn't have an option to see a 4 wedge set with a 4 degree separation. The 8 degree bounce on the 60 is surprising, while the other grinds and bounces are about what I expected based on my answers.

Love to test these bad boys out! Been playing some of my best golf lately, surely these will help me to continue to improve.

Definitely need some real wedges.  I’ve been limping along with just a gap wedge the last couple years.
