Ever wanted to be a part of the data MyGolfSpy collects over the course of the season? Welcome to Testers Wanted, where we recruit readers like you for objective feedback on products that roll into HQ throughout the year!

You can say a lot of things about L.A.B. Putters but you certainly can’t say they’re boring. Or conventional. Or even unoriginal. Even the owner calls them "absurd."

Leveraging an approach called "lie angle balancing" (hence L.A.B. Golf) the brand feels it has a technology to help you make more putts.

That said, we need testers like you to assess, and report back to us here at MyGolfSpy!

Important: Each tester will be required to submit a fitting video per L.A.B.'s fitting process and be prepared to provide as much detailed feedback as possible

And if anyone needs an appropriate quote from Princess Bride while writing your review, you know who to ask. 😜

I would almost think that between everyone in that thread, we could enact the entire movie in a thread dedicated to PB, but yeah I think we got the quotes covered.

In all honesty, the builds for everyone are what I'm most intrigued in. In DF 2.1 alone there are three heads, three grips, eight shafts and 36 lineup lines for a total of 2592 potential builds at base level, not including length and lie. B.2 has 160 different possibilities and Mezz.1 has 72.

In total, folks have the selection of over 2824 different builds, at standard length style putting, not counting potential armlock or broomstick builds as well.

Let's get weird...

That was my plan my plan going in @Berg Ryman! Hopefully it plays out the way I hope after the fitting process. If it’s left up to me, I’d like to go completely off the reservation here, and go with something that I’ve never done before.

My first choice would be the broomstick, then the armlock would be second. Either one of those in a 2.1 head would be a lot of fun to try.

In my lifetime I have owned in excess of 500 putters. Currently gravitating between a Scotty Futura and a Cure Tour X3. I am hoping (as is my wife) to find a putter that I can use for as long as I have left playing this crazy game. Hoping this is the one. Excited about the opportunity to test. I have a complete testing studio set up complete with cameras and screens.

I've always been fascinated by these, almost went this direction but ended up going the way of Evnroll. But with the latest Evnroll Zero release it got me thinking more and more about L.A.B. putters, I'll own one some day I assume. Tank you to MSG and L.A.B. for the lucky folks that test these.

A bizarre looking putter, but maybe that's what it will take to make more putts.  Will be interested to see how the testing goes in the eyes of the testers.

LAB putters especially the new MEZZ.1 have interested me for awhile. Fan of the science behind this and interested to see a review of the MEZZ.1 in a non broom handle configuration since Adam Scott is who we see this being used by most.

This is going to be a great test, L.A.B. putters are definitely unique and it should be interesting to see how they work out for the testers selected. Good luck to everyone applying and thanks to MyGolfSpy and L.A.B. for the opportunity for the forum to put these to the test.

Agree. Looking to hear the feedback on this one and how they match up against other brands

Recently purchased LAB Mezz putter after a rough putting stretch and am happy to report that I have never made as many 15-20 footers as I did with this putter. It takes a little getting used to center shaft, especially on short putts, but well worth the investment

Would love to be considered. I believe in torque free/ lie angle balancing as I have an Axis1 Tour B, which has definitely helped my putting. I still have a long way to go! It would be great to compare and contrast since I was not able to test the LAB when I did my fitting. What would be awesome is to be able to test both the DF and Mezz. Possible?

Thanks again for the opportunity, MGS.

These are so wild looking. I have been watching them for a while and really like the concept behind the design.

Tried some different putters in the past and still even have 2 prototypes that never made production. the head is certainly different, but not in a bad way. The shaft positioning in the shaft is very intriguing. Would love to try and report on one.

The b2 does look like something i might like, hard to know until its in your hand and where I live thats not going to happen.

Threw my hat into the ring.

Believe it or not... was *not* going to sign up for any testing opportunities this season at I've been working hard on my game and didn't want to get distracted....

Two years ago took an AimPoint clinic and the instructor had a LAB putter .. yeah looked weird-o but he liked it! Then I read the MGS article about the new Mezz model so here I am 😉😄

I was seriously thinking about getting one of these putters after reading the site's review.  Then pops up the opportunity to test one.  After my failed attempts at getting fitted and not getting the putter and desired outcome that I was anticipating, this could be the answer.

Thank you for the opportunity to give this bad boy a try.

I have been looking at these putters the last few months and they look very impressive from all the reviews I’ve seen. I really hope I get the chance to test one since putting is probably my biggest weakness.

I have been using a BioMech putter for 1+ years, I love it but who is ever really satisfied if they play this crazy game?

The L.A.B. Has everything I like in a putter: center shaft, string alignment aids, face balanced.  I would be thrilled to help you test these putters!
