Ever wanted to be a part of the data MyGolfSpy collects over the course of the season? Welcome to Testers Wanted, where we recruit readers like you for objective feedback on products that roll into HQ throughout the year!

You can say a lot of things about L.A.B. Putters but you certainly can’t say they’re boring. Or conventional. Or even unoriginal. Even the owner calls them "absurd."

Leveraging an approach called "lie angle balancing" (hence L.A.B. Golf) the brand feels it has a technology to help you make more putts.

That said, we need testers like you to assess, and report back to us here at MyGolfSpy!

Important: Each tester will be required to submit a fitting video per L.A.B.'s fitting process and be prepared to provide as much detailed feedback as possible

And if anyone needs an appropriate quote from Princess Bride while writing your review, you know who to ask. 😜

I would almost think that between everyone in that thread, we could enact the entire movie in a thread dedicated to PB, but yeah I think we got the quotes covered.

In all honesty, the builds for everyone are what I'm most intrigued in. In DF 2.1 alone there are three heads, three grips, eight shafts and 36 lineup lines for a total of 2592 potential builds at base level, not including length and lie. B.2 has 160 different possibilities and Mezz.1 has 72.

In total, folks have the selection of over 2824 different builds, at standard length style putting, not counting potential armlock or broomstick builds as well.

Let's get weird...

That was my plan my plan going in @Berg Ryman! Hopefully it plays out the way I hope after the fitting process. If it’s left up to me, I’d like to go completely off the reservation here, and go with something that I’ve never done before.

My first choice would be the broomstick, then the armlock would be second. Either one of those in a 2.1 head would be a lot of fun to try.

I've been avoiding thinking about putters and putting for way too long. I recently picked up an EvnRoll putter and can't complain, but I need something that makes me excited about putting.

I love new tech and research, so this trial sounds pretty great. I have a decent amount of practice options at home and live close to a bunch of courses I play in rotation.

Good luck, all!

I'm really intrigued by the new L.A.B putter that they're coming out with. Those look super nice and more compact than the DF 2.1's.

It is putting that is letting me down…the buzz is that these putters make it more predictable to get the ball in the cup…just what I need to be a complete golfer

I would love to be a tester.   I live next to a course and also have a putting green in my back yard.  Age 63 with 11 index.

Would love to test a L.A.B. putter and see what a difference it would make for accuracy and feel. Could it lower my handicap? Have to test to find out!

If a piece of golf equipment significantly out performs what I currently play, it goes in the bag. It would be interesting to see if the LAB putter could.

I keep eyeing their "factory seconds" store, but would really love to test them or get fitted before buying.  So many options on lie angle, press etc.

A guy who I took lessons from last year had a prior year of a LAB putter and he loved it.  I tried it a few times and it was definitely was a good experience.  Would love to get my hands on one to try for a few rounds and a few practices.

Currently shopping putters. My buddy bought on of these.  Used it on the practice green - very nice feel.  Would love to test this out on the course

Putting is my weakness. The rest of my game is solid. I have gone through many putters. L.A.B. would an interesting option for me to test. If I can benefit, that would say a lot of the their putter design approach.

Very interested to follow this test and see it it puts my Scotty Cameron Phantom on the bench.  I have demoed these putters and gotten good initial results in an armlock length.  Seemed very good inside 5-10 feet.  I have been thinking about getting fit for one, but I'm not sure about the lag putting.  That seems to be a potential weakness based on the Most Wanted tests.

I haven’t commented much in this forum but the Lab DF 2 has me crossing fingers to participate. I’ve bounced from putter to putter, recently tried the Wilson Buckingham after reading many reviews, surprisingly have seen a noticeable improvement. My trip to Bandon forced me to get serious with putting. I’m really interested in learning more about Lab putters!

Just recently purchased the new Evnroll Erz Zero putter and see the LAB putter looks similar in the setup and would like to compare it with the new Evnroll

12 testers, HOLY COW !!!

Read the MGS article recently and loved it being called a satellite dish.  Concept is extremely intriguing, and would love to have a chance to try one out.

Thanks MGS and LAB for the test, can't wait to see what comes of it !

Now this is a unique product that is going to be interesting test. Have seen some good unofficial reviews of this, with various results. But this and autoflex are the two most intriguing products on the market right now, so very cool.

I've been gaming Autoflex for a year. Total game-changer for me but it took real work to get the setup right. You won't get that much if you just jam it into a stock head.

Putting has long been a weak part of my game. Like everybody, I sometimes catch lightning in a bottle and finish a round with 26 putts but most days it's close to 34. If I could get better at speed control I would cut the 3 putts (at least once per round) and I'm not saying I would become a scratch but I could get close...
