Ever wanted to be a part of the data MyGolfSpy collects over the course of the season? Welcome to Testers Wanted, where we recruit readers like you for objective feedback on products that roll into HQ throughout the year!

You can say a lot of things about L.A.B. Putters but you certainly can’t say they’re boring. Or conventional. Or even unoriginal. Even the owner calls them "absurd."

Leveraging an approach called "lie angle balancing" (hence L.A.B. Golf) the brand feels it has a technology to help you make more putts.

That said, we need testers like you to assess, and report back to us here at MyGolfSpy!

Important: Each tester will be required to submit a fitting video per L.A.B.'s fitting process and be prepared to provide as much detailed feedback as possible

And if anyone needs an appropriate quote from Princess Bride while writing your review, you know who to ask. 😜

I would almost think that between everyone in that thread, we could enact the entire movie in a thread dedicated to PB, but yeah I think we got the quotes covered.

In all honesty, the builds for everyone are what I'm most intrigued in. In DF 2.1 alone there are three heads, three grips, eight shafts and 36 lineup lines for a total of 2592 potential builds at base level, not including length and lie. B.2 has 160 different possibilities and Mezz.1 has 72.

In total, folks have the selection of over 2824 different builds, at standard length style putting, not counting potential armlock or broomstick builds as well.

Let's get weird...

That was my plan my plan going in @Berg Ryman! Hopefully it plays out the way I hope after the fitting process. If it’s left up to me, I’d like to go completely off the reservation here, and go with something that I’ve never done before.

My first choice would be the broomstick, then the armlock would be second. Either one of those in a 2.1 head would be a lot of fun to try.

Intrigued by the recent write-up about these putters on MGS. I am really excited to see more from this test! Big thanks to MGS and the broader community in helping navigate new equipment and technology in very real terms.

Would love to be able to test these putters.  As the saying goes "Drive for show, putt for dough"!

I certainly do not agree with the saying and statistically its been disproven time and time again.

Having written that I agree that it is a great opportunity and wish you the best in terms of being selected as that would still give me 11 other cracks at it. 🙂  There are certainly lots of strokes to be saved around the green, that I agree with.  Thanks L.A.B. and MGS for the great opportunity.

I've been wanting to get fitted for one of these L.A.B. putters for a couple years now. I finally upgraded the rest of my golf set last year from driver through wedges, and putter is the last club on my list. I've continued to push it off because I've been putting so well with my trusty old Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball SRT Putter that I've used for about 15 years now. It's definitely time for an upgrade, and I would love to test out the L.A.B. putters. I don't have a practice facility at home, but I have a great facility about half a mile from my house that I practice at on a weekly basis.

Putting has historically been the weakest part of my game. I'm VERY interested in seeing if a fitting can help me with my putting. The strokes gained has gotten slightly better this past year, but I am still short of the skill from people my same skill-level with the putter. Looking to shave 3 shots off my putting this year without losing my short game skill.

will this get to 6k before the 5th? 7k? either way, good luck Mods!  Awesome interest in the L.A.B. putters. I thought after the main blog post something might be coming up, but 12 putters is impressive. Huge thanks to the L.A.B. team for participating in the MGS forum testing.

The putter face of my Odyssey 3 ball fell out and could never find the face insert. Since then I've been using a putter that came with my fathers complete set from Cobra.

Be interesting to try something like to see if it goes in the bag!!! It'll be one of the beauty tests this summer for sure!!!

The black is nice but I really like the green and red colors. Looks like they would easy to line up the put.

While I believe that I found my forever putter in the EDEL EAS 1, my buddy who's a 4 hdcp plays this putter and he swears that it's a magic wand. As quirky as it might look, it's all function, no fillers as far as he's concerned.

That said, the fortunate candidates are about to embark on a fantastic putting journey. I went from being a below average putter to a putting ninja gaining nearly 5 strokes thanks to the fitting and testing process that MGS and Edel put together, and I'm certain that this will be no different for those involved.

Congrats and happy testing to the candidates!

This particular test interests me deeply as my putting is by far the worst part of my game. I struggle with a very overly "handsy" stroke and this makes putting a challenge. I have read a couple articles on these putters and they seem to work quite well at reducing some of the unwanted "torque" that I induce. Very curious to read the test results when published.

The tech looks intriguing. I’m a straight back, straight thru putter but am sure that I get some twisting both ways. Look forward to participating.

I can't wait to see what one of these looks like in person, they are so bizarre. But if it's helping make puts then I guess looks don't matter

Good luck to all that put in for this testing opportunity!  Interesting type of putters for sure. I'll  be interested to see what the testers think of the LAB Products!

Really hope I get selected for this. I've gone back and forth on the idea of buying a LAB putter for a couple years now. I think the science behind them is super interesting and makes a lot of logical sense but I've always wondered why they haven't become more popular if they really work. I mean, I know they don't look great, but at the tour pro level, I would think that if something works, then that is more important. Anyways, I would love to give one a chance but haven't had anywhere to test them near me and have been too fearful to spend the big money to just buy one so far.

Very interesting putters. I would love to be fit and try them for comparison to my current set up. Good luck everyone!

This really grabbed my attention. Be very interesting to see how it compares to my current MLA putter, which is another company doing something different.

I'm in the market for a new putter since I'm still using the one that came with my topflite kit from Dick's. I like the way these look.

Gonna be some lucky people here. I debated signing up because I'm dying to try a Mezz putter and compare it to my current L.A.B. but I didn't want to take away an opportunity for someone to get this amazing putter in their hands and start making more putts. I used to have a putter collection until I got this thing and now I've sold them all because I'll never use another putter. Since switching to this I've matched my career best three times and then set a new career best round. I've said it since the day I first tried it, this putter feels like cheating. Good luck everyone!

I really like the look of the Mezz putter and the LAG putter shaft.

Looks like even in Canada there are few putter fitters for LAG.

Can't wait to hear from the testers on how it compares to their gamers.

I'd love to test one out, as I'm considering buying one.  Just haven't pulled the trigger yet.  I can't wait to see the results.

After watching all the videos on the L.A.B. putters and how they are so good at keeping you straight, I cannot wait to see the reviews that come back on them (would love to be a reviewer, but with the odds what they are I am resigned to reading about them).  The concept behind them looks cool but I am wondering how much of a change to current putting strokes it is going to take.
