Ever wanted to be a part of the data MyGolfSpy collects over the course of the season? Welcome to Testers Wanted, where we recruit readers like you for objective feedback on products that roll into HQ throughout the year!

You can say a lot of things about L.A.B. Putters but you certainly can’t say they’re boring. Or conventional. Or even unoriginal. Even the owner calls them "absurd."

Leveraging an approach called "lie angle balancing" (hence L.A.B. Golf) the brand feels it has a technology to help you make more putts.

That said, we need testers like you to assess, and report back to us here at MyGolfSpy!

Important: Each tester will be required to submit a fitting video per L.A.B.'s fitting process and be prepared to provide as much detailed feedback as possible

And if anyone needs an appropriate quote from Princess Bride while writing your review, you know who to ask. 😜

I would almost think that between everyone in that thread, we could enact the entire movie in a thread dedicated to PB, but yeah I think we got the quotes covered.

In all honesty, the builds for everyone are what I'm most intrigued in. In DF 2.1 alone there are three heads, three grips, eight shafts and 36 lineup lines for a total of 2592 potential builds at base level, not including length and lie. B.2 has 160 different possibilities and Mezz.1 has 72.

In total, folks have the selection of over 2824 different builds, at standard length style putting, not counting potential armlock or broomstick builds as well.

Let's get weird...

That was my plan my plan going in @Berg Ryman! Hopefully it plays out the way I hope after the fitting process. If it’s left up to me, I’d like to go completely off the reservation here, and go with something that I’ve never done before.

My first choice would be the broomstick, then the armlock would be second. Either one of those in a 2.1 head would be a lot of fun to try.

This is a fantastic opportunity and after watching the remote fitting video on their website its going to be interesting to see how L.A.B. use that video and putter length to give a great fit.

Curious as to if only the Directed Force 2.1 is the only putter up for testing or if it's whatever the fitting recommends.

I told myself after last year I wouldn’t apply to test a putter again. Whelp, in comes LAB! I have been close to pulling the trigger on them for 2 years ever since I saw @edingc unofficial review. While I won’t be golfing as much if I get selected, I would just feel extremely honored to test this bad boy out, especially with them being a couple hours from me. I am a scientist and believe in their science although I haven’t bought one. I think these guys are onto something. Good luck everyone one on the testing! This should be great based on all the reviews I have watched and read.

I already own both the DF and Mezz.  If a new style is coming out I would love to be considered for being selected as a tester.

Very unique product, will be interested to see how they compare to more traditional setups. Love the creativity from their business. Best of luck everyone!

I would LOVE to test this putter out. I have been very curious about this design and think I could do a good job putting it through the testing process.

Ok, this is one I would absolutely love to do. Incredibly unique and intriguing product and in an area of my game that's actually a strength.

Thank you MGS for giving the community a chance to put these babies to the test.

I would love to be elected for this testing opportunity! Putting has been a struggle, and I have been looking at putter options. My off the rack putter likely plays a role in my issues, although skill is the key factor! I just started putting together an at home putting setup to hone my skills. Thank you L.A.B. and MGS!

Definitely interested in being a tester for one of LAB's putters.  I've started looking at them seriously recently.

This is a very interesting concept. After watching the videos for the L.A.B. putters I'm very interested in putting them to the test. Thanks MGS for the opportunity and for all you do for us weekend hacks!

Based on the article published last week, I think LAB considers the DF 2.1 to be their "best" putter and the other 2 models are really just a compromise for golfers who think the DF 2.1 is too big or refuse to play something with that odd shape.

I have been meaning to try one of these.  I am struggling with squaring my putter face and that seems to be a strength of this putter.

I love new and quirky golf equipment. The more tech stuff the better, especially with putters. I've been searching for a putter that fits my stroke as opposed to having to fit my stroke to a putter and this looks like it might have a chance to be that special one.
