Want to contribute to the data MyGolfSpy collects?

Welcome to Testers Wanted where we recruit readers like you for objective feedback on products that roll into HQ throughout the year!

Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x are known as class leading, and maybe even class defining golf balls, and in 2023 we're going to get a new revision to the Pro V1 lineup.  As is typical for this phase of the game, Titleist is providing little in the way of details, but short game and wind performance are expected to be a point of emphasis with the new balls.  Because data-driven objective testing is what we do, we need some of you to assess and report back to us at MyGolfSpy.

We are looking for TEN (10) US based testers to help us look for improvements from the prior models and performance differences between these two white box models.  Each tester will receive one dozen Pro V1 and one dozen Pro V1x (two dozen total) for testing.

I really hope the new V1 manages to to captivate me, or the V1X sees some of the small improvements I would like out of it. Whenever I’m not in tournament prep I find myself reaching for TP5X and recently Z Star XV, however despite something about those options meeting my preference a little better, whenever it’s tournament time, I’m teeing up a V1X 10 times out of 10.

If you accept testers in Portugal I would be keen to test. I play Titleist ProV1 daily and would be able to report performance across the bag. I am a Mystery Golfer at different venues and I am used to strict and thorough reporting conditions.

I live in Louisiana too. Don't know why we wouldn't get picked, we play golf here all 12 months.

I've played Titleist balls ever since the balata balls. Currently play both the ProV1 and the ProV1x depending on how wet the course is.

I have consistently played the Pro V1 for many years. This year I experimented with the AVX and the left dash, but settled back to the Pro V1 for its feel, spin, and launch. I am a bit of a higher spin player, but found the AVX to be too soft.

Thanks!

Would love to test the new Pro V1s. Switched to Vice b/c of cost but been working on my game and want to go back to Pro V1s.

I'm a SoCal golfer and have been playing the ProV1, AVX and Left Dash back and forth for a year now. Would love test either new model. Thanks!

In northern Utah and our Men's league still going strong.  Had over 120 players in our stroke play tournament on Friday.  Temps in the 70's, sunshine, perfect golf weather.  Can hardly sit at my desk looking out the window and not want to golf every day.  Would love to try these out to see how they compare to the current ProV1's that I play now.

I'd like to be a tester for the prototype Titleist balls. I've been playing Bridgestone 330-RX or the Srixon Q Star balls so the chances of my being selected are slim and none. Opps...."Slim" just saddled up and is riding out of town. Still, I do play Pro-V1's often and available.

Stil beautiful weather in the Carolinas and if any golfers from "up north" want ideal playing conditions, "Delta is Ready When You Are".

I play year round-unless we actually get some rain this year. I play a variety of courses (windy, flat, hilly, small greens , big greens etc. so I can see how much a differenence the bal makes to make my game/score and if really makes any kind of difference on specific shots. I am really trying to practice my short game more so I can report if I am ending up closer to the pin with these magical new balls.

Very interested in being a tester of the prototype Pro V1's. I've always used Pro V1's ever since they came out. I've tested other balls but they have never been more consistent than the Pro V1's, especially with the spin control. I play year round so it's never an issue to test them during the Fall or Winter months.

Luckily I can get the full swing in my garage with the Garmin R10. It may not be the best/most accurate launch monitor, but it gives me the coarse info I need to continue improving. It’s also great to be able to play courses at home for $100 a year, even if they are cartoony.

Used to pay Titleist but recently moved to Bridgestone BRX. Seems to give me a bit more distance and little softer feel without sacrificing spin. Still love Titleist consistency and would love it if new protos lead to a little softer feel.

Frequent player in the land of highly variable golf, Myrtle Beach.  Courses cover every possible style of architecture.  Require the widest style of play (and balls).

I'm in my 60's but still playing the white tees and need a ball that gives me the maximum performance.  Whether I get balls to test through this site or not, I've been personally testing every version of Titleist balls since the Pro V1 was introduced in 2001.  I still have 2 balls from that first version.

Would be interesting to get on the GCQuad and see how these two compare to each other, and to the Z-Star line which I normally game. I did an analysis of the XV vs. Diamond earlier this year and was really surprised by the results!
