I was looking through the posts and there are a lot of people making their first post on this thread!  😂 I don't know if they all realize it isn't a giveaway! Plus, I'm guess a lot of forum members stay away from the CCC5 because of the time commitment... I know I did!

guilty on staying away. maybe when my daughter is older ill consider CC 14 or something 😛

close. she kinda can count to ten so she has more scoring range per hole covered. she is not able to sit still in a cart for at least 2 hours at this point

Hopefully she gets into it!

MGS offering up their driver of the year for a test is just another in a long list of reasons they’re the best golf equipment content creators on the interwebs. Bravo guys, keep it up. We love you

Were you having a bad day at the fitting, or was it that particular driver, and you went with something else?  Just wondering, as I've had my share of the yips in fitting bays, I think I have a mental block with indoor sims.  😞

I seem to be the other way, crush it the fitting sim then get to the course and wonder if accidently bought a different driver than the one I hit in the simulator!

I would love to try the Callaway driver.  Have not played a Callaway driver before.  Have used Taylor Made and Ping 410 drivers.

Wow, about 32 hours to go...can we get to 6K sign-ups?  The mods have their work cut out for them.  I wonder, what's the sign-up record?

I was thinking the same thing! I am not sure if it has to do with the new sign up system, SM push or releases to help bring people here but the number of signups for all of this years testing has been incredible! Well done MGS and it will also be good to see some new members selected and their reviews along with of course others who we know a little already through previous tests.
Good luck mods and this is one I will be looking at very closely!

Yes!  even if we get 1% of those people becoming regular members that would be a great batch of new members.

How many divisions do you think we can grow the fantasy football league to? 😂

We may need to do leagues not divisions. Have a A, B, C Tier and play your way up with the first year being a free for all! Have different prizes for the tiers and so on... Hopefully our membership retention can get to a good rate where we see more people staying active outside of testing threads and more Intros with WITB!

Yeah, I wonder what the retention rate is?  I'm sure there's no real way to track that, but I'd be curious.  I have to admit, I was one of those tester thread only guys way back when until I finally starting cruising around the forum and realized wow, there are a ton of good dudes, a lot of great content, and this a great "place" to hang out.

Personally, I'd love to meet everyone in person at some point.  Maybe a members-only MGS Open can happen someday...dare to dream...would be a road trip worth taking...

That would be pretty cool.  I know there are a lot of regional outings that members have.  Some still a bit further away than I can do at this point with the family.   I'd be down if anyone is around the Indianapolis area

Cannot believe this garnered more than the Cobra Connect Challenge.  Although, maybe it's a good thing as people actually do understand the commitment that the testing takes in general, especially the Cobra Connect.

My first post back  little over 2 years ago now was most certainly a testing application thread.  I have been reading the site for probably a year before that and before I even realized the forum was really there.

Didn’t take long for me to find the breadth of information and sense of community here though.  I’m so glad that I joined, got active, and have been fortunate to meet some fellow spies on the course and tested a few things along the way too.

hopefully we get a bunch more this year with the awesome testing opportunities that have already been offered this year!

12 hrs to go, only 337 short of 6K!  Can we get there?

Either way, way to go MGS!  Of course I want to be picked, but this is exciting regardless.  As many have said, hopefully it translates to increased membership and participation.

Dont the Scott Fish bowl gets something like 3K players per season? I think we can pull off 100+ fantasy football league.
