TESTERS WANTED!

Sub 70 Golf was created to give golfers access to the highest quality and newest technology golf clubs available in the market, and to do so at a fraction of the cost of larger companies.

They don't have an advertising budget, and there is no third party selling our clubs and marking up prices to ensure their own profit.

Sub 70 Golf is located in Sycamore, Illinois, and the people that started Sub 70 are also the people that build your clubs, answer your calls, and play a lot of golf.

Those same people believe that golfers should not have to feel the need to spend a small fortune on new golf clubs every six months in order to feel like they can keep up.

Sub70 take pride in their clubs, and stand for their values. If for any reason you're not satisfied with your clubs, let them know and they will make it right.

For this Test we are looking for 4 MGS Forum Members to test two of the Sub70 TAIII Milled Forged Wedges

Screenshot 2023-05-24 21.30.09.png

The TAIII wedge is an addition and complement to the award winning TAIII irons. Created with both reliability and versatility in mind, the TAIII golf wedge can play every shot: high, low, high spin or low spin. Meant for those with creativity around the greens, the Tommy Armour III Tour Milled wedges are the precision made tools of a short game artist.

This test is open to anyone in the US and Canada with RH only availability!

This one would be so valuable to me. I recently picked up a set of @Sub72Golf 659 CBs and haven’t stopped talking about them, and now I have these exact wedges in a cart waiting to have a little more wiggle room in my budget to pull the trigger. My wedges are about 20 years old at this point and one is a 52 I had bent down to a 50, so they’re in dire need of an upgrade! Fingers crossed!

Will be nice to see the results of these. My daughter went to Sycamore high and still lives in DeKalb, interested to see how a local company's products compare to what people are using today.

If you’re local, I recommend going in to see Jason and crew and trying out some of their stuff on site! I had incredible guidance and service over the phone. Must be even better in person.

I’ve been eyeballing these since they came out a few months ago. Would love the opportunity to test them. Best of luck to all! I’ve got some 286 wedges that I’ve used in the past and will rotate in the bag from time to time. Would be interesting to compare them against those and my hogan equalizer 2s. Sub 70 products are always high quality.

I play the callaway MD5 and they are pretty good for short game. Can't wait to test the SUB70, I had my eyes on them for quite a while now. Theirs irons look on par with all the big brand.

Great looking wedges @GolfSub70.  The "adaptability and versatility" have me more than curious.  It will be great to hear what the lucky testers report.  Good luck to all.

I’ve seen Sub70 show up on the testing for Most Wanted and would be curious as to how they perform compared to what I currently use. They made some beautiful clubs and wish I lived closer so I could go for an iron fitting with them.

I mean I haven’t been and I’m 2 hours away only! But I trust the brand enough to just buy then try!

I hear you. I first used the demo program. Next thing you know I have a 699/699 Pro combo iron set, a 286 Wedge, and 849D, and a used 939x 4H in my bag…

Would love a chance to test the wedges.  Have not replaced my wedges in over 5 years.  And supporting a company close to me would be awesome

I love my 699 pro's, 949X 4 wood and 849 pro driver. I have been trying really hard to hold off on wedges. I have had Suub70 wedges iin the cart a few times and haven't clicked the buy button yet.

For the MODS, please remove my name from the sign up. I know I would love them and not sure that would be a fair review. Plus I have already done a test this year. Sorry I got excited when I saw Sub70 and I'll sign up for anything from them.

Good Luck testers, looking forward to reading your reviews.

Wedge nut is what I am. I have 30 long game handicap with -24 short game handicap resulting in 6 handicap. Wedges are most important weapon in my game since I can putt with any putter. Try me..

Since joining the MGS forum, I discovered A LOT about DTC brands. Just looked up Sub 70's offerings and WOW! I definitely would have considered their products sooner if I had known better. Their 659 CB/TC irons are what I'm all about.

Customization is off the chart plus they are available in Canada without upcharge for shipping!

*Fingers crossed on this one*

Hell yeah it all starts with my 2 iron always! 699pro U 17degree 2 iron then my three wood cut a half inch short then a sycamore 007 putter (love that so hard) and my driver just showed up yesterday!
