TESTERS WANTED (4) EDEL EAS PUTTERS!

th.jpg

Edel might not be the first brand you think of when it comes to top-end putters. But the reason isn't due to lack of performance.

In 2020, the revamped EAS 2.0 was one of the highest-ranked putters in Most Wanted testing. Moreover, the EAS line differentiated itself primarily on putts of 10 feet or fewer.

Founder David Edel uses a proprietary fitting system that accounts for the influence of shapes and lines on perceived alignment. For example, did you know that lines in the cavity of a putter tend to shift aim to the left?

Because every golfer is different, Edel believes that the ideal combination and head shape, lines, length, weight, and grip size is unique to every golfer.

With that said, we'd like to get some feedback from MyGolfSpy readers.

**Note: MGS/EDEL will set people up with a personalized fitting with a regional fitter or local Edel account if available - If not, we can do a TeleFit as a last resort.

Would love to try them, mine is over 25 years old....

Not sure how the selection process is made, but I'd love to put my name in the hopper. . .

Might be time to retire the 1980's vintage Northwestern Tom Weiskopf model 309. I thought I loved her, but putter technology has come a looong way since then. I also have used my neighbors old odyssey blade with the white hot insert and Winn grip, but it has a short 31" shaft that just does't work for me. New putter is definitely on my radar.

I am very faithful to my putter...but...if I find something that works better I can be bought.

Fantastic offering!   This one got me to sign up for the forums after following for a LONG time

I'd love to give an Edel putter a test.   It's definitely not the first brand you think of, but if the performance is great, I don't care what the name is.

THE SHORT GAME IS THE KEY TO LOW SCORES.  DAVE EDEL HAS A NOVEL APPROACH TO WEDGE AND PUTTER DESIGN.  WOULD LOVE TO GIVE IT A TEST AND RENDER MY OPINION !

Would love to try a custom fit putter.  Everything else in the bag is fitted.  Thanks.

Pretty excited for this one, I'm not going to lie! I've been intrigued by Edel for a while and can't wait for a chance to try the new wedges! I know that Edel talks about each shape being different for alignment reasons, so I put the 4.0 because I've always liked the Odyssey #7 shape, but I'd be curious going through the fitting process what would actually help me the most. Good luck to all the applicants!

I would love to be a part of this test.   One of the hallmarks of Edel's putters and fitting systems is improving and dialing in how a golfer aims the putter and selecting a putter that helps in alignment.  He kind of goes his own way regarding Face vs. Toe balancing, so I am open to a different concept.

I have a Bettinardi that I was fitted for, but I will always look for something new to attack the weakest part of my game.

I struggle with starting putts on line. Hopefully I can test one of these putters.

I’m a “left aimer”—would really look forward to a fitting and testing opportunity

Using a Scotty Cameron GoLo mallet.  Was fit for this putter by Cool Clubs in Scottsdale.  Putting not a strength of my game.  Change of putter might be what I need to drop a few stokes off my handicap.

I'm currently playing a Ping Scottsdale Wolverine. Would love to try an Edel mallet putter.

Posting to express interest. If you're looking for folks with higher handicaps (~25), I'd be happy to go through a fitting and test out an Edel putter!

This putter fitting and putter insight and technology would be fantastic and welllll worth the effort to test.
