I love it when good things happen to good people (ok....me)

Last year, I got a lesson from Jim Hardy in what my wife calls me being "the naked model for art class". He was doing one of this Instructor Certification Seminars, and they needed a "student" for the lesson portion of the 3 day process. Well....I've been lucky enough to get invited back to do the same thing for his Level 2 certification seminar.

What this means is that next Wednesday I will be in Houston and getting anywhere from a 1hr to 3hr lesson with both Jim Hardy and one of his student golf pros. Last year, one of the pros there learning and observing my lesson was Casey Martin.

I can't wait, and am very much looking forward to it.....and it comes just in time since I've got my first tournament of the year the very next day. :)

thats pretty cool

were you a one planer before the seminar? and have you stuck with it?

I tried his methoid but it didnt work well for me, seems to work well for many people out there though

Yes...before I saw hardy last year, I had been attempting the 1PS for 3-4 seasons on my own with mixed success. After about the first two seasons, I went to see one of his kinda long time right-hand men (Mike LaBauve)....at that lesson, I found out that I had misunderstood the concept had spent those two seasons working on it incorrectly. LaBauve told me that he's seen several that had the same mis-conception that I did and they were working to explain it in better terms. They came out with follow-up DVD's and a book after that, and those items really helped clear things up.

I've stuck with it now for 5-6 seasons, but I'm still inconsistent as I've always been. I got a lot out of the lesson last year, and I hope to do so again -- and get that inconsistency improved.
