I don't see that happening. After hitting a LOT of drivers over the last 10 years, I have yet to see any astounding advances year to year. This would definitely be a first, and considering they are already $199 and closing out as soon as they were introduced, color me dubious. Is this another scenario where the last driver wasn't fit and this one was? Then, the yardage gains are possible from club to club. I have definitely seen that. But it generally takes the existing driver being ill-fitting in this day and age to see such gains. Very happy yours fits you and no doubt it's a club that should be tried but consider our most wanted driver test here which reveals that the jet speed won't be the best driver for many golfers and isn't often the best choice in Taylor Made's line. Sluggo42
Wow, you like it that much better than the i20? I will have to take some swings with it. Well, as the Rev states, not every club will react the same per player. However, for me and my bud, we replaced the i20, and his titleist 910. We were always within yards of each other, until I got my Jetspeed. And I was running it by him by 20 yds. So he started hitting it too, and we were back to even again. But, both of us picked up serious yardage, yet neither of us got as much with the slider. So, speaking for only two people, it's a serious upgrade. revkev
Exactly different drivers, heads shaft combos perform differently for different people. In the Same way I would get on sluggo for making a blanket statement I would think it silly not to try the Jetspeed and some other drivers also. Heck I was recently fit, I know my swing, I went to a demo day to get fit again, had great results, still tried a couple of other drivers, went to another day, had the same results before pulling the trigger. The best thing about and adjustable driver is you can tweak it even after the fact.
