SPY ZINGER 411
Guys, I know a lot of you get on the Twitters. But, there are many that do not. I would like to introduce, Anthony Taranto. He works in the Callaway Tour Department in Carlsbad. He caught my attention with the photos that he posts of some of his work. Tonight, he seemed to catch the attention of Pat Perez too, who wants a #7 with skulls on it. Anyway, here he is, and as he posts some of his work, I'll try my best to include it here as well so you can see it too. Maybe we can get him on the site to discuss some of the work he does, etc? Yes, I'm a Callaway guy. But this isn't about Callaway as much as it is about a Bad Grass MotherTrucker who's building some cool things and sharing it. More companies need to do this. Bring what is cool on the inside, to people on the outside. Makes the company personal, it makes you want to buy what they sell. I think he's doing a great job, and I like that he's not keeping it to himself. Just wanted to share it. Meet @TarantoAnthony His Eye Candy:

TWshoot67 37
Hey Stephen, i agree with you on most of your posts/topics. This one in particular i would like to see all OEM's bring the personal custom touch that all pga pro's receive to the masses. I believe this will be the future of all OEM's if they want to succeed as the smaller golf boutique companies are starting to get more and more attention because they have been offering this service for years. Companies such as: Scratch Golf, Piretti Putters, Byron Morgan putters,Machine putters SCOR golf, Hopkins golf and even Titleist seems to be getting into the act one of the most stoic (old school) of all the OEM's seems to be getting into the future of customization by hiring James Patrick! Right now most custom golf companies are either wedge only or putter only companies but I can see in a few years that all the BIG OEM's are going to offer some sort of customization if not full on fittings being available. OEM';s are realizing that bringing the same attention or close to the same attention as possible to what the PGA Tour players are getting would be a step in the right direction to gain brand loyalty or increase sales. It seems to big a big push in all the social media outlets and now OEM's are running golf trips for the general public ( seen on other site) as this must be where the OEM's are headed as to get your business by offering some personal touch! JMO PS: forgot to mention Mizuno with their fan interaction with TEAM JPX this past year. It's all about Facebook,Twitter and whatever other way to contact the new players of golf which are the computer kids. I for one am from the older generation but even I can see that's where we re headed. for all those who don't want to learn about computers and social media you are being left behind. I'll be 50 in a few days and i know i was left behind a long time ago, so I'm trying to catch up!, not give up PSS: Oh yeah by the way Nice Work Mr. Anthony Taranto, since my plumbing days seem to almost be over maybe I can get into the golf industry as i can work with my hands with the best of them..... stamping , grinding, club building is my next career.
