I love my R5 Dual TP , but need to re shaft and test an 07 Burner TP.

Love a 13.5* 910 f but most of the time it hates the swing I put on it.

I love my hybrids but lately something has gone cattywompus as they are all over the board.

Truly love my 2003 Rac CB's but think the 2005 Rac Tp suits me better (secretly conniving a way to score a set of these).

Truly passionate about my wedges and putter, the Ho in me wants to try other things but the realist in me has yet to let that happen.

It is very hard for anything to get into my bag without me liking it.

I just replaced my Driver after quite a few years and I love the low spin on this head. I would however like to have it custom fit for shaft.

The new 3 wood is a howitzer cannon. The Super LS has the Cor or CT of a driver. I wish it hooked less though

My hybrid is awesome. Couldn't be happier.

My irons are completely custom fit. They feel so good and have the perfect shaft. Smoothest irons I have ever owned.

My wedges have been in my bag longer than anything. I actually stalk Ebay for Pelz wedges and have replaced them with exact replicas in good condition. They are getting harder to find and when they can no longer be found I will be very upset.

My putter has been in my bag over 7 years. I have tried to replace it multiple times but nothing ever kicks it out. We'll see if the counterbalanced putter project I've been working on can do it.

Short version, I love all of it.

It's all about the short game, unless you can't keep it in play!

What's in my Bag:
Driver: Adams Speedline Super LS 10.5 with Excalibur T7+ tour stiff shaft
3 Wood: Adams Speedline Super LS 13 degree with Excalibur TFW Tour stiff shaft
Hybrid: Nickent 6DT 19 degree Aldilla Voodoo NV Stiff shaft
Irons: 4-9 KZG Tour Evolution with Nippon N.S. Pro Modus 3 tour 120 x flex shafts
Wedges:49 degree Dave Pelz wedge with a Nippon N.S. Pro Modus tour 120 x flex shaft. 54,64 Dave Pelz wedges with Rifle spinner shafts 59 Degree Scor wedge with rifle spinner shaft.
Putter: Bentinardi Ben Hogan Big Ben Center shafted 33 inches with best grips custom pistol putter grip.

Ball: Titleist Pro V1X, Callaway Hex Chrome +

RK, have you ever hit the mp 64? It's got the pure butter of the mp-33, with a slight bit of forgiveness. Attached to the KBS shaft, I honestly can't imagine anything more pure. It's like they came from Heaven...

64s are for touring pros I don't have the game for them. I'm fortunate if I break par a half dozen times a season and 70 once.

I have hit them and they are a great club for Luke Donald. Not close to enough forgiveness for a hack like me. I am considering the 59s.

Bah.. Your a 3 dude, u can hit them just fine.

But on that note, I'm willing to suffer the consequences of an off hit, for the butter of the good hits. I'm guessing that a totally serious player might not be willing to make that trade-off, so I hear what your saying....

You'd probably be disappointed with the 59s. They aren't the same kind of soft. I would have greatly preferred 64s, but maybe what you're looking for are some FG Tour V2s... right!?!?!?!

There is not enough difference forgiveness wise to say 64s are only good for tour pros but 59s are fine for the regular guy. Yea the 59s have a little more weight pushed out due to the titanium insert in the muscle, but it's not a drastic difference.

I am now the proud owner of a method core mc01 putter. Initial testing on my carpet shows great accuracy. But my carpet is about a 7-8 on the stump, so kinda hard to see how she'll roll on the real deal....

I think no I know I'm better than the regular guy and that's my point 64s really aren't for me and I'm a 3. But to each his own. The 59 has just enough forgiveness in it for a player of my ability. I hit the 64 okay when I demo'd it last year but I'm not a consistent enough ball striker for that club.

Congrats on the MC01, I've been very pleased with mine and find it "suits my eye" and provides me with very good distance control compared to other putters I've used.

As for my "love for what's in my bag," I'm really comfortable with the current setup I'm using and won't make any changes unless I have good reason to do so (but I'll always hold "auditions" for new possibilities - lol)

I haven't been able to make full swings since I had minor hand surgery last month but starting next week, I'll be able to start a regular practice schedule again!!

That was interesting about the "C" grooved putters. I am basically old school Ping but last weekend I tried the Yes! Dianna that I found in a old car ( I did a post on it) I thought it would be too heavy but apparently not. I like the roll it put on the ball. I am probably going to game it today or tomorrow and see what happens in the line of fire

Buttery beyond most and exceptionally forgiving. I really like that, as with the 64s, the weight is diamond shaped with more mass in the center of the cavity. I don't like when it's pushed out to the outsides like with the 59s and a lot of other cavities. The feel is significantly improved with some meat behind the sweet spot.

new R1, ot sure yet, i dont hit many drivers on the course so it should be all right, if i can dial it in with a good ball flight.

TEE xcg5 3W and 5W, best woods ever. if you have not hit these, you have the wrong fairway metals in your bag.

new xhot 19 deg. Hybrid, so far i like it

love the MP-68's 4-PW

52* and 56* cleveland CG16 wedges i really like these

Odessey xg #9, will be replacing this soon with the same style putter, i would like to find a custom one. (hard to find this style in custom LH) if i cant, it will probably be the Shea H scottsdale TR by ping

At the moment, I am very happy with the clubs in my bag.  However, I must inform you that most have only been there for 2 days and still waiting on one.  I just changed irons, not only brand but type of irons also.  Last year, I would change the clubs that were in the bag almost daily, depending on weather and course conditions and even how well I had been hitting the ball.  This year, I plan on having one set up and sticking with it for the most part.  I want to become more consistent and am hoping a consistent bag will help.

But my bag de jure is the best it has ever been, and here is why.

Driver:  :taylormade-small:  R9 Super Deep

But a week ago last Monday, I carried my R9 Super Deep to the PGA Super Store and compared it to the SLDR and R1.  The performance of the newer ones did not justify the price so into the bag goes the Super Deep.

Fairway Metal: :taylormade-small:  R11 T3 14*

Since 2002 I have kept going back to the Titleist 980F in 13* and 17* and kept reshafting these clubs to keep them current.  These are more of a 2 Wood and 4 wood.  I was a huge fan of the 13* on windy days.  The R11 is the only fairway metal other than the 980F that I have had consistent success off both the tee and the deck.  On a really windy day, I may put both Titleists in the bag, one for into and one for with the wind,

Hybrid:  :taylormade-small: R11 18*

I also have the Adams Pro Black 18 and 23 and the Titleist 909H 19 and 21 degrees.  This has been a hard fought battle on which of these will make the bag and honestly, the fairway metal and irons that are in the bag made a lot of difference.  There was a point last year where I played the Mizzy Fli Hi 2 & 3 irons in place of the hybrids and fairway metals.  As I was making swing changes, it was simply easier to hit the 2 & 3 irons rather than FM and Hybrids.  The R11 with the KBS Hybrid shaft is really the best hybrid I have ever hit.

Irons.  :ping-small: S56 4-PW

After a several years of playing forged irons and two years of forged muscle back blades mainly Mizuno MP33's, I have gone to Ping S56.  Mainly for the wear factor of Pings, since I play or hit balls everyday.  I will be doing a complete in the bag this weekend or so after I have more experience with them but right now I could not be more pleased. Of course, I reshafted them with KBS C Taper Lites and Best Grip Micro Perforated Grips.

I have been considering going back to Ping, old Eye 2 fan, and a friend of mine had just bought a set of S55's.  He convinced me to try them.  I really loved that club, but they also had an S56 head there also.  I tried that.  The S55 is much more forgiving than the S56 but compared to the MP33's I played, the S56 is plenty for giving for me and since I saved at least $600 the wife was more forgiving also.

Wedges:  :callaway-small: Forged Copper 52*, 58* and 64*

Once again, I reshafted these with KBS Wedge shafts.  I have a standard wedge shaft in the 52 and Hi Rev's in the 58 & 64.  I originally went with just the 52 and 58.  I can hit either just about any distance I want and have one with roll and one with not much roll.  After several rounds with this set up I took a 64 out with me and realized this gave me the option of hitting the ball much harder and getting more spin to where I have no roll or even backwards roll.  By going to the TMag FM and Hybrid that freed up space at the bottom of the bag for the 64.  I currently have a different 64* and the Cally Copper will be here today or tomorrow and I will reshaft it accordingly.  I did not find that the traditional 52, 56, and 60 provided enough variation and gap to justify carrying them.  I admit that the jury is still out on these wedges, there are some shots that simply do not perform like my old Vokeys, but I have chipped in with that 52* an unbelievable amount of times.  Maybe not once every other round but certainly more than once in three rounds.

Putters:  :cameron-small: Studio Style Newport 1.5 (2007) or Coronado (1996)

Yes, this is the one club that I am going to be changing out throughout the year.  These are very similar as far as set up and stroke are concerned.  Both have the same toe flow and both suit my swing very well.  The main difference is the sight lines.  The Newport 1.5 is a shorter, squarer blade and the blunted ends seem to really help in squaring the club, while the Coronado is much thinner, longer blade and more linear than the Newport.  This make is easy to align.  By switching back and forth the differences in sight lines seems to really help the aiming process.  (if that makes sense,)  It was sort of surprising after months of playing the Coronado to switch to the Newport and see the line so much clearer.  Then after a couple of weeks of this putter, I switched back and it was clearer.  Now, I am alternating when the mood strikes me and it is great.  Also, since the Newport is Stainless Steel and the Coronado is Gun Blue, I can take the Newport out in bad weather and not be as concerned about it.

So there you have it.

Interesting question !

Balls: Srixon AD333

Love these balls.  They are soft when I putt and chip, feel good off every club in the bag and are cheap too.  Complete trust, there is no shadow of a doubt in my mind when I'm over them.  What else can you wish for ?!

Driver: Ping G15

I love this one.  It has a mind of its own sometimes but honestly that's the indians fault.  I love the way it sounds and feels on impact with my Srixon AD333 balls.

Woods: none

I don't like woods, can only hit them off the tee, not off the deck.  So for me they have little added value as I seem to have little use use for them !  That's why my next club is ...

Hybrid:  Ping G15, 17 degree

Loooooove that club, good off the tee and off the deck.  Love the iron-like shape.  Psychologically I hate wood-like hybrids, because they remind me of the above !

Irons: Ping i20

Meh, no love, they have to go, only positive thing I have to say about them is that they are forgiving on fat shots.  I think will be replaced by either 714CB or MP54 which may be a stretch at my hcp.  But I want to get back into simple, clean forged heads that I love the look of, and that are more consistent, and produce the result consistent with what I put in.

Wedges:  Ping Tour-S

Meh, no love, similar story to the irons, they have to go too.  Back to the trusty Vokey I guess.

Putter:  Odyssey twoball

Love love love.  Been puting for years with that one.  I feel it, love it, trust it.  Furthermore, it was a gift from my late coach/pro, so it has some added emotional value.  How can I ever get rid of this one ?  I hope I can keep using it for the rest of my golfing life !

Sunglasses: Oakley FlackJacket XLJ G30

I like them.  Can keep them on during the entire round which is a must.  I don't like glasses that I have to take on and off for swings, chips and putts.  I do not yet love it though.  The G30 lens is a tiny bit too bright for me, and I don't see the added value with green reading like they advertise.  I'm considering to switch to a slightly darker tinted oakley lens.  And that might tilt the scale from like to love.

Rangefinder/GPS:  Bushnell Tour V2

I like it, works as advertised.  Do not love it though, because using it takes too much time I guess.  And for the longer distances I find it rather difficult to target a pin.
