If anyone hasn't seen this, it's definitely worth the watch. It's on Netflix and follows several kids in the world golf championship. These are 7 and 8 year old kids who shoot under par. Crazy.

Anyway, from the mental game perspective, it's probably the best thing I've ever watched. This isn't a "look at the cute kids" type of movie. It's a look at different personalities of winners. Helps if you have a kid who plays though. I watched with my son and he got to see that actual amount of work it takes to be a winner. Bet most of us don't practice putting 5 hours a day.

If the kid isn't learning something, he's wasting time. That's hard to tell from the outside and the kid is most likely the only one who truly knows. I don't buy the 5 hours thing. It can be 5 seconds if the kid learns something and keeps the learning.

This is an amazing documentary, loved seeing how kids from all different backgrounds prepped for the event. The kids seem to genuinely love the game....but a few of the parents will end up burning these kids out. The "Tigress's" father needs to stay far far away from his daughter if she's going to be successful as she grows up.

I watched it last night,  it was really good!!  I think that little girl from Florida is gonna keep making headlines.  She plowed through everyone else.  The amazing thing to me was that it seemed each of those kids wanted to be there,  they weren't being made to do it.  I would never push my kids to do anything at that level but if they had that desire and potential I would certainly support it.  Did you see that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were the executive producers?  My wife caught that in the credits.  JT is a golf nut!!

Yeah, that was a really great documentary. I kind of admire the mental strength of Anna Kournikova's little brother. That kid had it all together up there.
