Red X2 goes from Stock to Flat Black

This one came to me in decent shape with normal wear and tear. The customer had some pictures of a couple of tour issued RedX2's and wanted that look, without the cost and stamping.

Here are a few pictures of the putter, ready for media blasting before color is applied.

Here are some shots of the body and sole plate. The insert has been lightly milled and the initials stamped. Hadn't given it the final clean up, so she isn't picture worthy, ;-)

The customer has requested that they be left black. He says that he never used them as any alignment aid, so why bother with color. I see his reasoning and am all for keeping the customer happy.

Not having ever used a Red X2, I can't say if they'd help me or not.

The face is cleaned up, but not snapping any more pictures, tonight. Gotta get back to the real world and day job at 5 AM, so crash time is very close.

Thanks,

Looks better than the cmoe stock. I love the look of black putters. The black reminds me of the Ping Redwood Black Series.
