Adjusting lies on pings

I seem to recall that ping irons were once difficult to have adjusted. In case I want to go the eBay route for irons is this still the case. I'm thinking of the lie especially. Thanks

Send them to Ping.  They will adjust the lie on a set for $18 plus freight and also clean them up.

It's actually $18 for the bending, $17 for return shipping and whatever it costs you to ship them to them.   It'll end up being right at $50.  If you know anyone that lives in Phoenix, ship them to them and have them do it.  It's free if you walk in with the clubs in hand.

And any club builder that has a Mitchell can bend them.  Yeah, Ping hits theirs with a hammer.  Doesn't do anything that a bending machine won't do.  If you ever need to send them back to them, simply bend them back to the correct lie angle for the color code.
