Like Salmon I initially came to the blog after searching for equipment reviews on google. Then I discovered the forum and the 'new content' button has become one of the first places I venture to in the mornings. The blog is still where I look for most review information, but the forums have become a great source of context and deeper understanding about all things golf (and not golf on occasion lol)

It's the most "real" site I know of to get honest reviews from. And good peeps! Now, you really keep us coming back knowing there's even better stuff to come! Woo hoo!

Looking forward to it!

P. S. And T comes up with some good stuff every now and then too. Haha!

I came here for the high quality reviews, and have stayed because mgs truly is the one place where I can read a review that I can trust 100%. Perhaps even more than the blog side of the site, MGS is a mainstay on my screen because of the great people who are members on this forum. Both because they are so knowledgeable and intelligent, but also because we've created a special and friendly community here that creates truly vibrant discussions. That community is something that I'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere...

I started lurking on MGS several years ago and fairly quickly realized that it is not your typical golf blog or forum. I was visiting several sites at that time. It didn't take long to notice the difference. Unbiased reviews, industry news with no spin, seemingly regular guys who are REALLY into all things golf, and lots of things about the game that I had only a peripheral idea of. Prior to coming to MGS, I would say that I really only knew one person I could have said was a student of the game (it wasn't me). But here? Geez. I learn something every day on MGS- about the golf game and industry and about myself as I relate to golf. No, this is not hyperbole. I'll close with an example. I've read many, many golf equipment reviews. But only after reading the great reviews here and realizing that almost everyone has something to contribute did I even consider sharing my opinions in the form of a review. MGS is the only golf site I know of that really values all opinions and perspectives. There is great value in this site to all of us who love the game, and I appreciate that.

I ended up here after hanging at a different site for awhile. It seems people here are a bit more straightforward here and aren't sugar coating reviews, which I really like. Every new product can't be that awesome...

I found this site when looking for leaked pictures of the first Taylormade R11. Then I came back on occasion for the reviews. I subscribed to the blog thinking it was the forum then I left that. I later found the forum and tried to find out more on equipment and do some of my own reviews. Now I go MGS everyday to gain new insight, ideas, knowledge, reviews, and all the great stuff that comes with being a member of MGS.

I first came to MGS because of some dude calling himself "Hula". He told me it was a nice online community of guys who weren't keyboard tour pros, making things up about themselves and anyone else.

Since coming here, I've found the community to be a wealth of information for golf related equipment that I might otherwise have not heard about. I thoroughly enjoy reading the review forums, as well as the experience threads from the groups that get to make special visits to OEMs.

I've also had the honor of participating in a review thread for MGS prior to the release of a product. In such a small time I feel a vested interest in participating more in the community here and I make it a part of my daily ritual to read up on the goings on.

My Entry:  I joined the site just to see what ZINGER was wearing next.   :)  I fancy to dress like him one day.   Honestly I do like the reviews by "everyday golfers" for "golfers".  No "tour issue" babble,  clubs made from Martian moon dust, etc.

Not a lot of my friends golf so this is a great place to come and talk golf, see what others have to say and really just let everyone know why I don't like Bubba :)

Recently though the reviews have been great and really keep me up to date with what is going on in the golf world.

Haven't found a better, more down to earth forum with a great group of people who contribute.

I originally came to MGS because I was looking for a golf blog where I could keep a journal of sorts of my quest to qualify for the amateur pub links (failed miserably) but I ended up chatting with a few guys, and now I'm here for good. Like my golf game, I've had lows and highs, but I always come back.

I found the site after looking for driver reviews when I decided to start playing golf.  I read the forums for a few months before deciding to join.  Based on my sky high post count you can see I prefer to read more than post but the information and entertainment provided are something I look forward to daily.  I'm hoping someday to get enough skill to maybe meet up with some other MGS members and take a few hacks at different courses.
