I read MGS on a fairly regular basis but wasn't the posting type.  I actually frequented the other site more.  The tour contest obviously got me more engaged with MGS and I am very glad that I did.  The reviews are always great but I also really like the forum.  You feel like you know everyone that posts here.  MGS has a great thing going that I'm sure will continue to grow.

When you use the poker chip on the green, it gives you opportunity to tell others about MGS.  Great marketing tool!

I dig the poker chip. I actually collect them. Mostly from casinos around the country. I have a ton of $1 and $5 at home.

 

But in all honesty, I would never use it as a ball marker. One of my pet peeves. What's the point of a ball marker that's too big to putt over? I'm not one to tell you what to do, but it's too much of a pain for me to move it every time someone has to putt anywhere near it - which is every time....

That's a really good idea. It is definitely hard to see a penny from 50 feet away.

I do the same thing.......poker chip for the long putts and a U of Ky blue marker about the size of a nickel for the close up putts that others may have to putt past.

As for me ,It's much more better to play in the internet. Why do I think so? I think so,because of risks you can find playing at the club ,where there are a lot of inadequates,who won't accept their loss. When I lie on the bed playing poker online ,where there is all safetly. You have to test it -https://99poker.id. Safe yourself,your health and your money.

I wasnt very familiar with MGS.  What got me here is No Putts Given.  I started checking out what the site has to offer and found the forums.   Now I'm waiting to find out what comes out of ball lab.  Watching No PUTTS Given and kind of getting to know the people that work on this site adds more depth to the content for me.

Simple, it's because of the honesty of the people/testers.  Golf typically is an industry that likes to make broader claims with their marketing.  MGS cuts right through all of the hype and bs to give us the facts.

Id never heard of MGS, one of your podcasts was reccommended by spotify. I absolutly loved the podcast so I went to the website. Again was super impressed by the quality of articles. Stuck to the webpage for a long time, then figured what the heck I'll check the forum. Lurked for a while and then decided to sign up. I can say enough good things about the group of people that post on this forum. Its amazing how nice, and helpful people here are. I'm on a couple other forums for my other hobbies and everyone is an *******. This forum has restored my faith in people. (a little bit)

I started playing golf as an escape during grad school (MBA focused on Data Analytics). I was spending lots of money to be schooled in the art of business. As my golf obsession continued to grow, it also became apparent how cut-throat and fake the golf industry can be.  I probably found MGS down some internet golf rabbit hole late one night but I haven't looked back.  The transparency and honesty is was brought me here, the continued quality and community is what keeps me here.
